I play in solo. But, I am also now beginning to play two EVE accounts, free to play, because I am losing interest in Elite.

Those who wish to play EVE will do so. Those who wish to play Elite in an EVE-like fashion will be disappointed, in my opinion. Those who wish to play Elite in solo, will also be disappointed, as attention is given to multi-player development.

They aint invisible to their opponents in the "no trolls" group, and they get engaged with regularity by 'em. They are playing PP exactly how you want it, with the risk of PvP. They just only choose to play with people who have been vouched for as not being jerks. That doesn't make them allies, I promise you :)

I'm sure you're right. However, "Those who wish to play Elite in solo, will also be disappointed, as attention is given to multi-player development." is, to my mind, part of the problem. Multiplayer != open. Multiplayer can be PGs, whether they have a code of conduct that goes beyond what is enforced in open or not. Multiplayer only content - such as multicrew or wings - is not open only. All are playing in the same galaxy by the same rules. All deal with folks in other groups or in other instances working against them and their game is not diminished thereby, for all the yelling and screaming some folks do on here. And this was a fundamental promise of ED from the get-go, the reason why more of the folks who wanted to play solo DIDN'T seek refunds when offline mode was axed, the ED equivalent of setting up "my server/game/map-instance, my rules" in other multiplayer games. FD should not break this.

I was gonna write a big rant...but this kush is just too good and I completely forgot what the point was halfway through a third of the way there. Actually forgot what era I was in fer a bit there and first thing I thought was, wheres the poll and what fun options do we have to choose from.

I had a metagame once but she was terrible at roleplay...

Are you accusing him of meta gaming or just those that don't share your opinion?

And what makes you think anyone is telling people to post in support of open as opposed to simply making their members aware of the situation, causing those members to then go and post their opinion? I'm in a multitude of powerplay groups, and every single one has posted something along the lines of "look at these potential changes and give your feedback on them" as opposed to any "say yes to open only" sort of thing.

That made me look at my reflection to check I still remembered who I was...but the longer I admire meself, the more aroused Im getting...Im quite a good looking fella actually when the light is low...

What a silly card to play.

I know that many, many open-enthusiasts, myself included, who don't use the forums often (for obvious reasons) have logged onto their accounts to express their positive opinions on the matter, because there is no focused feedback thread on reddit or other platforms and want our opinions to be heard.

Because the open community has flooded in to drown out the few who reside here and dictate everything to FDEV (2.1 NPCs, timed ship transfer etc) as we want this game to promote playing together you think this is a metagame? lol

Sandro clearly asks for opinions and input on the topic.
I think he does NOT mean, give me your vote yes/no and we will do whatever is the majority.

So I don't see a problem. FDEV has the idea and they seem to have the will to decide freely and taking all issues and directions into account. Good move. The will ignore the just "yeah" sayers (and "nah" sayers).

Couldn't they make PP a threshold variable whereby a player was invited by factions to participate according to affiliation or some such and obliged to maintain an active role?
That way players such as myself, who don't have Xbox gold, could still participate if they wanted to.

Do away with the lifetime modules.

I understand how those who are dedicated to PP must feel about the abuse.

Take it from me guys, this dude here has a point. Low forum rank does not mean new.

Most of these Harmless posts are the norm'.

I'M THE WEIRD ONE! I've made over 16k posts since I joined in 2015... Which means only 7 seven people have more posts than me. :p
