I recently installed odyssey and started my engineer grind. I normally play in vr and it runs smoothly. I went to pancake mode while I play something else, while waiting for the permit mission from davey dock mission board, I hate whoever thought that was a good game mechanic fyi lol. Game starts to boot up and everything starts loading super slowly at 5 fps. I booted up end task to check cpu usage and it's only at 22% and everything else is running fine whenever I tab out of elite. Was even running Hell Let Loose in high setting and getting 75 fps in that game. I close it and try it in vr, runs smoothly. Tried uninstalling from my hard drive and reinstalled to my ssd and it is still doing the same thing, capping at 5 fps and loading everything super slow in desktop mode.

sounds like a driver issue
That, or the monitor is plugged into the on board GPU, as opposed to the graphics card.
Fixed it, it was the local app data graphic file that had to be deleted. Something got messed up when I upgraded to odyssey
