Franchise Community Challenge Discussion

I'm actually more surprised that the game allows players to release elderly animals if they're still fertile. We should have an option to re-home old deer or zebras rather than dumping them into the wild 😵‍💫

You don't want to use them to reduce the Lion feeding costs?
Or is that the same objection to releasing them into the wild!

No! 😭 It's not how I play this game, it would be extremely upsetting.

So you've put in a request for PZ2 for enclosures like this: :D

Not necessarily. Although, in sandbox and diorama modes you can turn off the predation, if I'm not mistaken.

What I would like to see in PZ2 is even more emphasis on the conservation mission of zoos. Maybe more interesting way of reintroducing species to the wild. For example a rich zoo could invest and buy land to create a nature reserve or support existing ones with regular donations. The current system is too simplified and uninspiring.

Only Red Ruffed Lemurs count for me. Why would they not say its only ONE lemur and not all of them? What a joke. Also the % seems to be personal again and not showing the overall community effort.

I also had several Black and White Ruffled Lemurs work for me.
Not sure on the % as both in game and on site is showing 0% for me. You on a high number again ? rofl

2% with 154 animals
It looks like my old report is still open on the support site, if you want to post up your screenshot for the latest challenge. It will hopefully give them time to look into it sooner.
Of course, it could mean that they didn't really fix anything last time, it just worked behind the scenes. But not being able to confirm this with a global total it's a bit risky to assume this.

Finally: Madagascar Zoo taking shape with all four lemur enclosures in place: (even if only 2 of them will count :( )
(and just spotted that I have no gift boxes or signs up for the Black and White Ruffed Lemurs!)

Butterflies, Bats and Sloths hiding in the trees and restaurant at the far end of the path to encourage those guests who seem more interested in food!

Nile Monitors added as they're also East Africa Jungle, and planning to add Fossa, Aldebra Giant Tortoise and Reticulated Giraffe for the same reason

Managed to pick up some animals cheap with excellent stats, except for near zero fertility, so that they won't pester me as often with messages :p

Maybe a bit late, but how is everyone else taking shape?

Just starting my Madagascar zoo again .. starting small this time like I did with the China one. I can always expand or move the habitats out as the need arises ( and money grows ). I'm being more strict on animals, so nothing other than Lemur/Sifaka and Fossa plus the Aldabra for the additional small island, so will have to boost using multiple info stalls to get the adoption kits sold . I can make it look more like Madagascar once the money creeps up. I have the Lemurs in multiple zoos but they're not on their own so mucho management and minimal storage ( again rofl ), so will use those nearer the end of the week for a quick burst of game play to get stars up.

Sounds quite similar - I'm just being a little lax and adding the Giraffe as they're also surprisingly restricted to that coast
(and the monitors a bit more relaxed for Madagascar criteria; but let me play with a glass barrier below the water level which I've not done before )
