I'm really encouraged by Free Update 7! The amphitheatre has been so long-requested and I'm very glad devs decided to add it. The existing Visitor's Center and Innovation Center are great, but it'll be nice to have another focal point attraction to add -- especially if trying to stick with a JP theme.
Some seem disappointed by the lagoon additions but I'm personally happy with them. Remote viewing domes will allow for deeper lagoons instead of trying to make them always fit into a viewable area.
Sandbox customization is always welcome and extends the life of a game like this. It's nice that they're adding ways to make parks both more difficult and more peaceful. These features have also been requested and, apparently, will be delivered. Looking forward to seeing how they work in practice.
One thing I've yet to see -- and I'll hold out for more patch notes -- is whether the many dinosaur welfare bugs are being addressed. A great many of us have trouble with territory decay (or other factors such as freezing in place) causing dinosaurs to starve, especially in late-game. This is maddening for folks who plan their enclosures carefully and watch their dinosaurs die one-by-one for seemingly no good reason. Hoping this, above all, ends up in the patch notes.
Not sure who requested the damaged buildings thing, but I'm here for it, sure!
Overall, combined with the paid DLC, I'm pretty excited to dive back in. Anyone else have thoughts?
