They still have warhammer 40000 and other areas that are selling well. They still need painting. Shame really, I really like warhammer fantasy. But, won't paint sales drop if there are no more models to paint? Will Frontier stop selling the game because they make more money with paintjobs?
SPACE BALLS CONFIRMED!Once again FD confirm their commitment to adding content to ED, so that's nice. We can only hope that the 2020 update is going to be something decent and Fleet Carriers are a good feature.
Anyone got a working magic 8 ball?
And Powerplay.
Besides, 3 millions units sold does not say anything about active players right now. Nobody knows that number for sure.
Why should they - from a cold business point of view - if a steady flow of new players keeps the game growing?
btw, no one has mentioned steam charts yet in this thread. Are they broken?
Doom?
Just have a look at steam stats to get an idea. Or twitch streams. Or YT vids. Console most played. etc.
If it's worse than Anthem's numbers you can start worrying.

No doom, then I fear.Ok.
Takes a look at steam numbers
Oh, it appears like they are currently higher than they used to be 4 years ago in 2015.

Kind of... yeah there are company that even after a huge fiasco they're still in the business and other companies that close immediately after. At the moment Frontier is the second type in my opinion. These aren’t good metrics. Elite is a small game from a small developer targeted to a niche audience. It can’t be compared to AAA blockbuster titles designed for mass appeal, even ones that performed worse than expectations. That’s like comparing Aston Martin sales to Morgan.
I think Total War and Warhammer turned out to be a near perfect match. They still have warhammer 40000 and other areas that are selling well. They still need painting. Shame really, I really like warhammer fantasy.
That's not how it works. You need to make up some other completely arbitrary and unrelated argument. That's how you do it:No doom, then I fear.

Still doomed. Also please stop debunking my unfounded fears with facts, thank you very much.
I mean, that is totally logical. That's not how it works. You need to make up some other completely arbitrary and unrelated argument. That's how you do it:

I new it. My loogical conclusion was right all along.I mean, that is totally logical.
Higher temperatures mean your router craps out more often, meaning pirates would starve because they can't get your vopals.
So climate change is directly responsible for the bad experience pirates have in Elite: Dangerous.
