FSS glitches in some systems.

It happens, generally, with stars over 40k LS away. Some work better than others, depending on zoom level, but ultimately I've had this a lot recently and have gone back to travelling 500,000LS to scan stuff.

I have found the distance it plays up varies, sometimes I just need to get a little closer, I believe it is related to how close the distant objects are to each other. Sometimes I can scan at 60kls, sometimes I need to get closer. I expect it will eventually be fixed.

When is this getting fixed?

FWIW, I tend to find that it's only ever temporary and if I can zoom in on something and then zoom out again it goes away.

The only time that doesn't seem to work is in the situation above, where the FSS has decided to show me a star close-up.

First seen it in Anantet system, and it happens in nearby systems too, may be even everywhere else.
How it happened:

1. Jumped in
2. Doing a FSS scan
3. Clicking on the planet group near Anantet B causes screen to rotate and glitch strangely.
4. Sometimes screen turns orange in the end of glitch effect
5. Backing out with Backspace key restores screen.
6. Sometimes screen stays distorted a second or two after backing out to the highest level.

I keep getting this too. Is it related to scanning a far away secondary star with multiple planets? Flying closer seems to get rid of it, but takes a long time to get there.

Confirming I get this too.
In a Dual star system, planets orbiting A Star scanned fine but those around B star wouldn't.
I was 200Kls from B. Got to within 100Kls and scanning worked

Thanks CMDR, honestly thought this issue was caused by my aging rig. Only seems related as previous users have stating on the thread to scanning far away bodies close to stars (doesn't affect bodies next to Gas giants at all).

Added my own finding to the report and vid evidence.
