Navigation panel - filters - put all checkboxes except FC

Thanks to the both of you (Cmdr Red House).

So the answer is no. I can't hide them in the system map. I was aware of the filter thingy for the nav panel. That doesn't solve the problem with the system map though.

So Fdev, please add a filter to the system map to get rid of these carriers.

Or better add an option to deactivate them entirely in every view. That would be awesome.

And while you're at it, fix the PWA too. I won't give up on this. You broke it, you fix it. Easy is that.

literally every single thread on this forum involves the ANALyzer... this forum is full of pervs I tell ya... I'd like to see any of ya try and trouble shoot the code that is probably 100s if not 1000s line long and look for a fault that was not intended, which they admitted, and would love to see how quick You would fix it... unless You want the whole team looking for it, but then all will start whining about Odyssey getting delayed... and back to square 1... I give up

on FCs I agree, but as always people don't consider other people (shocked face there?not), so how about those who have the carrier themselves? if You filter out all fcs how the frak you suppose to find yours? How about thinking your approach thoroughly first and the start unloading your frustration. It would be nice to filter them out with option for FC owners to leave their own FC visible in whatever Nav or System map.

You are many times right ... This is why at least 5 people left the elite. My old friends who bought the game at the start of 5 people ... tried to drag me in due time, but according to their stories, I did not agree. All of them are gone because of - imperfections, not bugs and errors, and imperfections there are a bunch of unfinished things I will not list everything.
 
I think if this balance is to become permanent we need to remove cross faction stacking of Massacre Missions once and for all.
Two key reasons:
-It will be the new gold rush left how it currently is, and has the potential to make void opals look like hydrogen fuel.
-It is the only income source that punishes minor faction play, all other types of income can be gained to the advantage on one faction.

Sorry, but i don't agree with you on that.

Content that's present before any DLC should work, BEFORE even start to do anything else.

I don't care if Odyssey is delayed a century if that means everything else works as intended. I can see that they start working on new things. But priority has to be always existing content. I am sure with Odyssey released there will be more issues coming up and they would add up and nothing will be fixed anymore properly.

So bring anything else in line and then release more.

Also bad marketing btw. Why would anybody buy the upgrade if fdev are not able to get the basics work proper?

Edit: Oh and to your rant about my fc suggestion. First off, there was no "unloading frustration". It was pure constructive criticism. Nothing more. And second, i didn't think i need to point out, that the own fc shouldn't be affected by that filter/option. Because, you know, otherwise it wouldn't make sense at all. But thanks anyway to actually pointing it out.

I am sure with Odyssey released there will be more issues coming up and they would add up and nothing will be fixed anymore properly.
Let's agree to disagree than CMDR, since I don't give a flying about PWA or any of the existing issues that FOR ME are nowhere near game braking, unnecessary annoyance at worst really, I'd rather get new stuff first. I won't need PWA in FPS mode will I.

If you were under the impression, that i'm getting personal, i'm sorry for that CMDR. This wasn't my intention at all.

At times i can get a little carried away with topics i am interested in. I respect your opinion too. No offense.

Same here, in terms of balance I always wanted combat to get a bit of a bump up in payouts as even hauling meds to outbreak systems was more profitable than combat especially if You weigh in the risk to reward it was just better to trade... lets hope they get it somewhat right though and not over do it (a bit of optimism there... pffff)
 
What kinda has me puzzled is Solo Pirate Massacres got a pay buff with a kill count reduction.... Yet Conflict Zone Massacres only got a pay buff (a very mediocre one too) and what looks like an INCREASE in Kills needed. In my experience , CZ ships can be quite tanky compared to Pirates , not to mention Spec Ops , Warzone Correspondents , and perhaps the most ridiculous yet Captains ... Do not count towards the completion of these missions despite taking a LOT of effort and focus to bring down (specifically Spec Ops and Captains which can make you lose a CZ pretty quickly if not handled requiring your focus.) They also pay quite below the effort required to kill them imo.

It's almost like fdev explicitly said they weren't looking at combat bonds in this pass isn't it ;)
 
I've been playing every day since the payout and I felt a reduction in the spawn of the large pirate ships. In an hour killing everything that appears, I'm earning a maximum of 4 million
 
I flew yesterday ... And I noticed a simple thing. In general, all payments for the promised boosts were cut, let's start with my favorite mining, I specially farmed 192 painite and flew to look for where to turn it in. As a result, in 2.5 hours I still did not find a station even at 450k actually from the declared 600k we have 200k and this is the maximum .... sad. Fdev should consider how such nerfs affect the game. Now about the hot one! Punishment of pirates ... I got on my corvette and flew to protect the miners from pirates. HAZRES! yohu! Together with the missions in this system to shoot pirates no more than 15 million / hour, together with the scanner .... I generally have only 1 question for the developers, did you decide to kill the game in the bud? Drive everyone to the ground not for entertainment purposes, but force them to dig the ground with their hands? For many projects, there are 3 days left ... Then you will play the game yourself for the next three months. Good luck and all the best to you.

Which state combinations have you checked?

I saw 400k at CL+Boom+PH, so i suspect that Inv instead of boom would pump that to 600k
 
that is, you mean that now the state of investment is worse than a boom?
No, i mean CL + inv + ph might give you the 600k; I've not had a chance to verify myself.

Just note though... there's several commodities with worse investment- state prices than boom prices; this kinda makes sense for any mechanic that should be self- neutralising, a mechanic mining has severely lacked. Realistically, the amount of high- end minerals traded prior to these balances should've made any of v the receiving systems go into economic bust with the quantity sold and purchase price.

E.g pirate attack causes T5&6 Pirate Attack sites to spawn. Handing in bounties increases security and cancels that state, cancelling those sites by working them. Likewise, mining "gold rushes" should disappear fast when worked.

Are we talking about the real world or the game? If about real, then any of the miners should swim in billions of billions of credits for 1 payite, and all power belongs to the shipbuilders. If about the game, then all the more I see no reason to cover up the mining shop. Actually, I said everything in 3 days the game will die for 3 months, and there will be another 2 projects.
 
With this rebalancing, could stolen commodity missions please be rebalanced?

Right now they always require mission-specific stuff, which renders freeform piracy irrelevant. It would be really nice if that were unlocked, so any stolen goods of that type would fulfill the request. That way players can pirate a bit more freely and then fill missions as they see them, rather than the other way around.
