It's a good review. I especially agree on the "half baked multiplayer" part, hoping for much more soon.
He said dozens of career paths to make money...he's delusional, there is trade, mining, bounty hunting, pirating, exploring, and missions *which are just station endorsed version s of the first few I mentioned. Thats 6, not even a dozen. Lets try to be a little honest, I love the game, but please don't try to fluff it up, if we aren't honest it'll never improve
Edit: Oh forgot merc work...that's seven (and is merc work really different from bounty hunting?) Still no where near dozens. I wish there were a dozen of career paths

Another garbage review by a so-called "professional review site". Absolutely no mention of the real problems with the game, just a fluff piece. Then again, what do you expect as they are also selling the game. Just another site where gamers will be misled into purchasing (from their website) this partially broken game.
He hasn't played the game at all; simply another review site "faking it".
Or maybe the reviewer is merely, you know, liking the game. It seems to me you have quite an axe to grind with anyone who does?

Just read this review. I think very fair. Good to see a positive score from such a high profile site. As the game stands now my thoughts are its a 3 or a 4 out of 5 and if IGN, Gamespot etc give similar scores then that really is great news. DB must be stoked to read a review like this. I'm happy for FD and the hard work the devs have put in. Not to say there aren't issues of course. In my view Existing features need to be sorted and fleshed out before bold new expansions. Rare goods-gate seems to be today's crisis. I think missions, trading markets, multiplayer and the rep systems need to be ironed out. Bounty hunting needs a bit of love as well. All in all though, the intention to put this "release build" on sale now may in hindsight turn out to be a good move. I admit I had doubts myself. Ultimately it should prove an extremely solid base from which to work from.

I have an axe for fanboys and dishonest reviews.....clearly you don't.
Hmmm... the screen shots show the HUD colors are customised....
So they've taken some time to actually play and work out how to do customisations or are you saying they just copied someone elses screenies?
Also, I do a combo of Explorer / Bounty Hunting. No cargo hold at all. just bought my Detailed Surface scanner !
So hybrids of the main 6 are effectively sub classes but still effective choices. Does that make dozens?
I'm pretty sure once wings are setup, we'll have escorts as well as flash mobs and even more fun than we are now!

Reading the 10's and 0's are very telling. The game not perfect, nor is it a 0. Neither side helping people making an informed choice. But when I read the 10s it's clear they are trying to fool others into buying the game.
