Hi guys

I might be about to shoot myself in the foot here - but I think they reported it wrongly?
I don't see any issue with the way the issue has been reported at http://vrfocus.com/archives/9055/elite-dangerous-gamma-1-01-reportedly-breaking-oculus-rift-support/ - it seems entirely consistent with the issue as I've been experiencing it.
"normal in the right eye but showing up darker in the left"
Damn, still no fix.... Tonight is usually "Elite Night" for me (Other half goes out). Oh well, here's to hoping that a patch will be out before works done for the day!!
The only thing that does is if I physically hold the rift about 2 - 3 inches away from my face.
Just signed up for the forum to report I'm having the same issue. Raised a ticket about it on Monday.
Also noticed that the orange spinning ship in the menu loading screens sometimes doesn't initially appear in the right eye for a few seconds...
And is it just me or is the 'scale' of things better? Might be the bump to 0.4.3 SDK, but looking around my Eagle cockpit, it feels bigger and more accurately scaled than before. Sitting in the station hangar feels better too (apologies if this has been mentioned already, haven't been through all pages of the thread).
Also, slightly unrelated and I know it's a bit late to do so given the Gamma status and the imminent release, but how would I go about requesting a feature be added to the game? All I want is a clock somewhere in the ship (on the status screen or something), as it's difficult to keep track of real-world time when you're in the Rift and have been playing for hours!
Check out the Gameplay and Features Threads for suggesting great ideas like yours![]()
Just in case there was ever any doubt, it was me again. I broke this.

I think this may be my first games industry death threat. It feels like a rite of passage.Tell your boss your life is in serious danger from an angry mob if the fix doesn't get released ASAP![]()

I think you will be reasonably safe considering the angry mob will be disoriented, have migraines and suffer from strained vision when they come for you....I think this may be my first games industry death threat. It feels like a rite of passage.![]()

no...... we would have been but seeing as we cant use our rift so we can all now see again.
Sometimes the real world sucks. Looking out of my window everything all looks drab, dirty and washed out... where can I put a ticket in for some more lighting effects?
