I'll always think back fondly on 18.04, Nvidia patched Epic same day for that. Good times. Well, good time.

Have emailed NVidia support to kindly request patch forcing through, but not opened a ticket yet, as just released at 11:00 BST.

(unlikely to get a response today as they (going by my previous support email times) are 8 hours behind BST I think on West Coast US)

Have done the usual - raised ticket & submitted "Issue"-type feedback from the GFN client. Have also mentioned that there's a time-limited event associated with this update.

Oh man, this happens every time? I was wondering if it was Geforce Now or Epic that was the problem. Guess I'll have to wait

Seems to be just GFN Epic, there aren't complaints on the forums from Cmdrs with Epic installed locally. GFN Steam client gets updated straight away, and when I asked Frontier support how they released to Epic and Steam platforms, they said they pushed both out at the same time as soon as Frontier's own servers were updated.

Just had a reply from NVidia support - game for EPIC on GFN should be patched now.
I can't check until later tonight though, I don't know if it will just give the message like 'We are currently patching the game - please try again in a few hours' or will quickly update and play.

Just tried to log on and already says 'We are currently patching this game, please try in a few hours' !!!

I will try again Friday evening and hopefully can get in, I was hopeful for Sun, but Friday would be great (if not unprecedented with Update 18.04(?) which only took a few hours after FD released)

Yeah! I only logged in about 3 hours after the patch and Steam was already playable, but I tried Epic a couple of hours later and it said it was patching. If Epic gets patched same day that's a major step forwards!

Logged in briefly this morning, Epic was updated and playable - you should be good. I left an upbeat update on my venerable Nvidia ticket.

Oh Dear, here we go again. I played last night and did a couple of Controls CZ's, but today after the update can't get in again due to update 19.01.
Hopefully tomorrow if GFN does the patching otherwise I will raise a ticket with NVidia and wait.

Yeah, looks like normal service has resumed, sadly. I updated my ticket/raised a fresh feedback issue.

I did wonder if the Nvidia process was perhaps noticing major version updates like 19.0, but missing point updates like 19.01, but I checked back and the last slick Epic update was 18.04, so it's not that.

Yeah, looks like normal service has resumed, sadly. I updated my ticket/raised a fresh feedback issue.

Still no GFN Epic update as of today, unfortunately. Kind of strange that Steam GFN always gets them immediately.

Darn it, just got back in Tuesday Night on EPIC GFN since out after U19.01 and then there's another update U19.02 tomorrow (Thursday 28/11/24) PPPPPPFFFFFFFTTT!

And that after Arf just streamed a closing comment on FU 'and if you think the Thargoid War is coming to and end, just watch the Socials tomorrow!'

The launcher is clumsier but the GFN updates have all been fast (to date).

Looks like I'll be sitting twiddling my thumbs whilst Titan goes down.

Fortunately, I got my 2M on Wednesday as I knew I would be locked out.
It took a lot of doing, but after 3 rebuys got there - getting about 200,000 per core run (85,000 to 350,000) until dying after 3 or 4 runs (quicker than exiting for repairs, etc.)

Knew I'd be out as after the Thursday updates 19.0 19.01 and 19.02, got back in on following Monday/Tuesday - GRRRRRRRRRR!.
I'll be raising a NVidia support ticket later and sending feedback (Issues) each day.

Thinking I'm safe for the Decal upto Tuesday anyways (and watching hearts progress with both anger and envy).

I created the usual Nvidia issue feedback and updated my ongoing support ticket, they responded to say (again) that the appropriate teams would be notified to take a look, but no progress when I checked the Epic client this evening. I think it's about a year since I first reported the issue...

It's not so bad for me, if I'm desperate I can unlink both Cmdrs from their usual Epic/Steam accounts on the Frontier website, and then link the alt to Steam. I did that on Thursday so they could partake in a spot of Cocijo bombing, then flipped them back again.

I hope you manage to get back in before the CG ends, would be a shame to miss out on all the FSD rewards 'cos Nvidia can't get its act together.
