GeForce Now patching process extremely slow

Don't know what has happened here. I played twice yesterday (Friday) with TB 3 updated and then after 18:00 and since then, get the Cannot connect to EU West error - it is a new problem not the usual 'patch not updated yet' error.
It is not router or firewall - it is GFN and/or Epic.

Ah well...........
EDIT - I can get in and play in Legacy, but I get this error in Horizons Live and Odyssey Live, so surely this points to it not being AWS servers, but GFN EPIC software patch, right?
I have updated my cust support ticket with this info.


Luckily I have a large amount of mined Plat in FC from way back which I can dump whenever I can get back in - - - eventually.

Logged in just now and went on Sheild TV - straight to Update instead of play - pressed Update and it started updating- thought OH NO! won't be playable for 2-4 days again.
Read in forums news that 3.1 has downloaded.
<Prepared to NOT play>
BUT - went straight in after update and pressed PLAY - - - WOW!

Maybe NVidia have made update patching automatic?????:eek:🤞🙏

Hmm. Pressed Update and it's having a go, perhaps this patch is tiny enough to complete without something inside GFN timing out? But the update would still need applying every time we launch the game, until Nvidia patch the game client centrally.

Hi game show patching for 2 days now and I wasn't able to play since 8 may. I look the messages in this form. Looks like its chronic but I want to be sure am I the only one with patching error or not. And do you know can I see game status (not server) from GFN web site? I am using Epic btw

If u have epic verion of the game base + odyssey it should be patched today. Tho aplying patch for epic verion usually takes about week long. I left GFNow for that reason i bought PC. In log run it is cheaper.

I just logged in a few minutes ago and the GFN patching must have been finally applied centrally - it went straight to the Play menu without requiring an update.

when I tried 15 mins ago it wasn't up. Let me try again and Vuteq you may right :D there is 1 other game I want to play and its in maintenance for 2 days
