General Planet Zoo Streams Discussion

Does anyone have any idea what the leaf money is when you go to the trade center? At first I thought the leaves might be a reflection of how well your zoo is doing. So the more leaves you have the more exotic, dangerous, rare,... animals you can get. I don’t know if it is actual currency that gets withdrawn or if it is a sort of certificate that you can just get them. Kinda like you got 200 leaves so you can get a lion that costs 190 leaves but after purchasing (or trading perhaps) you still have 200 leaves. Curious to hear what some other theories are.
Yeah okay just watching rendhammer’s stream from tuesday and he reads what the conservation money is. You get it by completing challenges, releasing animals to the wild, having your avatars visit other zoo’s (which is exciting that we will be able to visit other people’s zoo’s), ...

Oh man, that is exciting. They are doing so many cool things with this game.

Edit:
I'm watching Rudi now and he definitely has a more systematic approach to his stream. From the sound of it he played yesterday and knew what he was going to do coming in today which is cool. You were right @Voids Light Light I totally jumped the gun I'm glad they played how they played yesterday so that we could see that approach. haha

Rudi's stream was great. He looked more into the mechanics of the game than the animals, and showed off the exhibit animals. He also showed some of the fence building, and I was wrong about the fences being as bad as the path system from planet coaster. Not to mention, he showed off the path system, and said that it was a bit better than planet coaster.

I agree, he did a great job at showing things off and actually felt organized since he had some experience. I very much enjoyed it. I think that's possibly something to expect from the streams here on out. I think he mentioned going over the staff paths the next time he streams which will be fun.

Planet Zoo should be complex game by this what we saw so far. It's full of some challenging things which needs, well maybe a bit of skill and right balance to solve. I really don't take that as minus but plus. Everything what I saw from game literally blows me away. I mean protesters when you runing your zoo bad.. c'mon! Who could expect that? I knew Planet Zoo will be a very good game, but this is so much better what I have expected.

Rudi's stream is really worth to watch. He is such a taleneted player.

Bo was right. It really worth the wait for Gamescom. Can't imagine what they could have for final countown for Planet Zoo? Cause we know hype will be bigger and bigger as November comes.

As for bestinslots stream, I'm wondering if he'll focus more on showing the animals off than the building, as thats sort of what he did in his Jurassic World Evolution demo.

Whats strange though, is that Rudi's stream today was an hour and seven minutes, while the ones yesterday were around an hour and thirty. Does this mean the streams are going to get shorter as the days go on?

I also heard one of the streamers mention that their time allotment is between 1 hour and 1.5 hours.

DeLadysigner showed that you can fill an enclosure full with water, meaning we can create TANKS! :D Even if we don't get aquatic animals right now, the tools for an aquatic DLC is already build into the game :)
THANK YOU FOR THIS! Holy crap, I am so glad she did that. I do fully believe that there will be an aquarium dlc.

They fixed the hippos swimming. This is amazing. Not to mention, since the waters volume metric, I truly believe that the waterfall in the orangutan picture is a real one.

One more thing, and sorry for the change in topic, but is anyone else disappointed that the streams that happen on youtube aren't saved to youtube? For example, I want to watch the stream with the tanks in it, and I can't due to the fact that the person streaming didn't save it to their channel. Hopefully bestinslot will save his streams to youtube, since I don't really want to miss it, and I may end up missing it..
