Here's a novel idea: Be more careful about who you allow into your PG. It's not ED's responsibility to get involved in PGs at all.

PGs were never intended to be PVE servers. Players wanting a pve experience are compltely justified to try to use the in game mechanics to try to achieve it. Unfortuntely, PG in game mechanics weren't designed to support a PVE server model. The blame lies squarely with FDEV not learning the lessons of 20 years of mmos. There may be other solutions...
Are they really problems at all when we already have PG's, mode choice and block ?. People are asking FDEV to fix an issue that was addressed pre launch players can already fix this for themselves.
Along with 300% speed, low gravity, and infinite gravity hammer ammo?

Don't join the PG if you don't like the rules.
Think of it like a low effort (on the players part anyway) dedicated server.
The things you could do in such an environment are nearly endless.
The BGS and all that really shouldn't be accessible from a PG anyway.
Those "all modes are equal" types really stepped in it there.
It's really their fault we can't do any of this stuff IMHO.

Every time there's a spate of new posts I also get a spate of new reps from a slice of different forum members for the OP.
Judging by the amount of rep for the OP, versus the few comments that don't want to acknowledge the truth, it is much more plain to me that those with a predilection for mistruth and fun at the direct expense of other players are outweighed heavily by the players that value truth.
Not exactly what I would call most people "interpreting" my post. I put *interpreting* in inverted commas, because, as I will never grow tired of recapitulating (while also having a damn good chuckle to myself), the OP cannot be "interpreted". It is plain fact.
By all means treat facts with disdain if you wish, but that doesn't change them into non facts.

So you're refusing to condemn this horrendous behavior that has been committed by your people? Why won't you disavow these heinous acts? Surely you'd like to take this opportunity to distance yourself from such disgraceful activities on the part of those who find common cause with you. Otherwise, it almost makes it seem like you don't think we should have broad concerns about one group of people based on the outlandish actions of a relatively small subset of that group.
But that CANT be the case, given that this whole thread is premised on moral handwringing about the possibility of someone getting invited into a group of videogame players under false pretenses, and then not following whatever code of conduct that group has agreed to impose on themselves. It is indeed a great and enduring fear of mine that someone, somewhere, might not be able to fully proscribe the way a stranger plays a videogame.

Do I really need to say that I condemn the extreme outlier behaviour described? Of course I condemn it. It is unacceptable. The hint was the word that I used - "extreme". Didn't really think I had to say it out loud...
But let's not lose sight of the fact that the condemned extreme behaviour isn't "representative" of "my people". ("My people" is your words, not mine. I don't have people, but I will use your words for continuity's sake, nothing else.)
The difference being that the single non representative extreme outlier (which I'll be clear that I *do* condemn), and the group of players that we understand clearly going out of their way, making a deliberate effort to join what they know to be a no-PvP combat PG, and specifically targeting a no-PvP combat PG whom they know do not allow or accept PvP behaviour - that entire group of individuals are not extreme outliers. They are exactly and concisely the group of individuals that I reaffirm are being dishonest on purpose and with premeditation and are therefore confirmed liars. Not outliers of a group of players, simply the entire group of players that the post describes.
Therein lies the difference and therein lies the reason why your post is, frankly, ridiculous.
Let's also not use an extreme outlier behaviour to justify an unacceptable behaviour elsewhere. It isn't a race to the bottom, despite the fact that some player's make it appear that this is what they want.

"We do not tolerate harassment within our community or our games [...] This also includes the prolonged, extensive, and/or malicious targeting of an individual or group of individuals through Frontier-owned platforms for the purposes of disruption or agitation."
Joining a PvE Private Group to gank people is the definition of using Frontier-owned platforms for malicious targeting of a group of individuals for the purposes of disruption and agitation.

And quite rightly too IMO.
I dont understand why this would be fine with the first account though, especially since it never actually removes you from the PG as long you stay logged in, so the offending CMDR can like, yeah just dgaf about the fact they were removed from the group. Keep the pc on, keep harassing people.
