Regarding the suggestion of the legendary Frontier support I'm writing you here in the official forums about my issue.
My inquiry is quite simple. I bougth a lot of skins because I'm one of these crazy people who love not only the game but also loves customizing it and collecting nonsense. Unfortunately, xmas brought not all of San(dro)ta's gifts. Namely the there was no gold for my beloved Corvette!
no GOLD!!
issue:
- only time related availability to get special skins like the Gold skin (or the black one)
my suggestion:
- stay with the mechanic to make special skins like the black or the gold skin only available to the store at xmas or easter or whatever
- In addition there should be a way to trigger the availability outside of these store times. Example:
1. If a player docks to Jameson Memorial of the Founders World (Have to be Elite) AND
2. is also King or Admiral, there should be a
3. mission (no, not flying to Colonia!) to deliver the max amount of gold that can be fitted in a Type-9 to Hutton Orbital (upgrade to large pad?).
4. bringing back a mug after delivering the gold to Jameson Orbital unlocks the Golden skins for every ship to buy in the Frontier Store
What do you think about that absolute harebrained suggestion of mine?
