Oh, i must have missed this. Pretty cool they recognise thargoid tech - weird that it decodes ruins!
Live stream has a new ram tah mission retrieved from meene. Mitchell Dock was the exact place. Docking there gives a new message with the mission. The message specifically mentioned guardian sites and decrypting site data.

Found a pretty awesome Site with a pretty cool layout. There is something that came out in the pictures next to my srv, which is different then those lightning balls.

What sort of blueprint do you get from that one? The Vessel blueprint? I can't speak for everyone, but I haven't seen that layout before!

I went to one of the Synuefe systems, landed close to the ancient structure, made a few loops inside the struct, got distracted by a sentinel, headed out of the base, found a meteorite signal in the scanner, and I've been drifting around the planet collecting materials for the last hour, still haven't seen the structure LOL.. FML
I've Just been at that site, Struggling to find all the pylons.
Does anyone know for the Pattern Epsilon Obelisk Data if we have to use the new ancient ruins or just any random one?

Greetings, fellow xenoarcheologists, I heard about Guardian sites in Col 173 Sector QU-O D6-25 on the new GalNet while I was exploring just under 50 jumps from there. I know basically nothing at all about the Guardian stuff beyond of something like that existing, so I decided to check the planet out.
I see there are three sites, one marked as Guardian Structure, two as Ancient Ruins. I landed at the Ruins site marked as Beta in this chart:

I found an Ancient Tablet, an Ancient Totem and several structures with data points, some marked as Obelisks, one of those gave me a Blueprint segment for an alien vessel. Needless to say that I have no cargo rack. Naturally. When I finally find something actually worth picking up while exploring. *sighs*
It is midnight here, so I am calling it a day. The whole Guardian story just caught my interest, but I am certainly returning to the Bubble first, to offload my exploration data, get some cargo rack and perhaps some weapons and better shields too too, as I heard some Guardian structures are guarded by hostile machines. I would hate to lose the exploration data I have gathered, probably worth 100-200 million Credits by now.
I guess I have a huge lot of reading to do to understand even the basics...
Is there anything anyone needs me to check out or take a screenshot of, while I am there? I plan to play some more tomorrow (well, actually, today [big grin]) evening.

I went over to the first Guardian Ruins I ever went to, at SYNUEFE TP-F B44-0 CD 1. There are 3 known Ruins sites there.
But now there's also a Guardian Structure. It's not like the one at SYNUEFE EU-Q C21-10. There are no pylons. But there are relics and totems and such, and sentinels.

Hey cmdr, welcome to the Guardians side of things!
If you check the first page, there's a brief history of what's happened with Guardian stuff and ongoing stuff from prior to 3.0 in post 1, a load of general info ad FAQs in post 4 and latest news in post 3.
But in general, the things that show as Ancient Ruins are pretty well known (except if you find them in a system which doesn't show as Guardian in the Galmap filter - in which case, please report it!
). The things that show up as Guardian Sites are new to everyone as of 3.0!
