There's been a bunch of "this guy won a fight against me, must be hacking" recently, and not even confined to this game.

I always thought this was par for the course, pushing two-decades or more. Has there been some unusual flareup that I'm not aware off?
Anyway--and this is more of a general thing than anything directed at you Screenmonster--the only thing worse than actual cheaters for honest gameplay are rampant hackusations. Both cause a chilling effect that results in everyone presuming the worst of every situation.
In the case of ED, part of this is Frontier's fault for not clamping down on both cheats and baseless accusations, as well as for having a product of perpetually uncertain functionality. However, we as players are also responsible for adhering to the rules of the game and how we interpret the play of others.
It's just something we've seen around the forums? Not a very scientific analysis, I know. This thread is probably what Screemonster and I were thinking of.
This is Unacceptable. Frontier you better do something about this ASAP.
The April update brought more bugs and glitches than anything but it seems it also brought more cheaters and hackers as well. This is unacceptable Frontier, I and many other like me have put a lot of time an money into this franchise and we expect better from you. Fix this hacking issue along...
Some folks in there pretty quick to conclude hacking.
well its not that they actually think someone's hacking most of the time its rejection of the idea of being wrong. has to do with fight or flight

You know I get called a garbage pilot a lot because of my KD but you know why its so low...because I don't go after cheep and easy kills. I go for CMDRS who know how to fight.

There are functional hacks that have been reported to FDev and are still working with no service interruption since November 2018 at a minimum (when one of my guys reported it). Most PvPers have encountered a hacker at some point which are easy to tell because idiots just max the sliders and a conda running down a 580 m/s FDL is a bit fishy.
This situation would be suspicious to basically anyone because a mostly harmless conda dunking a PvPer screams one of two things: hacker or alt. Alt is more likely, but hackers are more common than anyone likes to admit.
Could you post your build? I'm kicking the tyres of an Adder I've seen recently.

The best bang for buck most people in the small ship big game Hunter world that I know lean towards seems to be two crypto-scramblers and a C2 multi with corrosive in terms of bang for your buck.
1. nobody shamed anyone here, the Anaconda is a superior ship to the mamba. Harry made it news himself by claiming hacks.
2. The griefers do post vids of when they beat us, that's already happening a lot, I think you have the sequence wrong here my friend.
As for whether ganker or carebear are considered insults, I'd say that's down to the sensitivity of the person. Are you sensitive?

To be fair to point 2, those vids usually ended up removed and infractions passed out like candy for pitiful reasons at one stage here.
Yes indeed, to be fair they don't post their stuff on the official forums, they use reddit, there is that difference. I don't reddit myself, hate the interface.
