I might be wrong but I feel this unbelievable pay increase is a mistake made by Dev's and will be adjusted pretty soon.
I agree with many players that such an increase is a non sense compared to other role rewards.
...Again: i'm not against more credits, i grant it everyone here. But i don't think it will make exobiology more attractive on the long run. Many players will end just scanning one or two single bio on a planet and go on, many will just play it for earning credits and then go on with other things in ED or more worse: other games.
After that hype, more credits won't bring more and better scientific data and won't change that it get's dissatisfying after a while, at a longer sight.
However, I do not fully agree on the statement above because the exobiology pay had to be (slightly) increased to keep interest and motivation.
I liked to explore planets and found and scan funny plants, but I have been disappointed by the reward. After several long trip away from the bubble, I was ready to stop this exo exploration due to the poor pay.
From now on, even if the reward is properly balanced soon, I will consider it as very interesting to do on the long run.
Any hard work deserves good salary
By the way the WIKI has not been updated. It still shows the old values...
