Patch Notes Update Horizons (2.0) and Ships (1.5) change log

Although the server status says Upgrading... I can get in with Horizon 2.0 64-bit and play... but I am already seeing two issues.

1. The Imperial Slave demand, for at leat two of the stations I usually sell them, is suspiciously 0 (and one is Zamina Torval exploited system, one uncontrolled system). So, I am now stuck with 432T of Imperial Slaves, as my trade routes are completely broken without the Imperial Slaves vital link.
2. I have been doing missions trying to rank up from Marquis for the last 3 days, must have done over 100+ missions... and my Marquis rank progression is 0%. Huh??? I did all that for nothing? Can't be... there is at least 100 donation missions in there and many Charity food missions in there. Well, at least I didn't lose the 30M+ credits I made in the process.

Hopefully, this is just the upgrading process and will be fixed when the upgrade is completed.

Time till download finishes: 1h > 6h > 4h > 7h > Connection Dies (Not my connection, but connection to the server) > Start Install Again and repeat.

I only have 200 Meg download speed. :S

Just a quick one, It seems my account which i logged in with in the launcher now doesnt come up with the store either. Are user accounts down ? and if so what can we do about it and is there an update for this ?

Too many people downloading at the same time, seems to be the main problem I'd guess. Can't even get to the shop to buy a Bobble Head. Fail.

You can be sure there is a massive load on the (Amazon) server as of right now. Less to do with your local DL speed at this point be aware, the download can slow down .. or speed up, so fingers crossed.

This is not FDs first big update and they certainly know their infrastructure

Frontier, why don't you release the Steam keys for Horizons? That would take a lot of stress off your servers.

Okay so I'm probably going to sound really dumb...

I don't have the ED:H beta, my understanding is that it's separately bought. I've just opened the launcher and it says the beta is over, does that mean Horizons has been integrated into the ED base game? Or is planetary landings etc... all still only part of Horizons?

I really don't understand how this game model is working, it's got me so confused right now. And if Horizons is basically a completely separate game, why is the news button on Steam for the base game linking me to this changelog for stuff about the Horizons beta?

You can be sure there is a massive load on the (Amazon) server as of right now. Less to do with your local DL speed at this point be aware, the download can slow down .. or speed up, so fingers crossed.

It's the slowing down that miff's me. Every few minutes or so my DL get's to around 50 MB/s with 7 mins to go, then hardly any movement with progress bar, 30 seconds and min latter its back to 0.XX MB/s

Probably not as simple a process as copy/paste all files, though it might appear from the outside ..
Unless FD just spent all day watching a (blue) bar upload that is! (which I suspect they didn't)

Planetary landings = 2.0, you need to buy it. If you have ED but not Horizons, you will get the 1.5 upgrade.
