I was just landing on my first planet 10 minuts ago and when I left the planet on my way to jameson station i SC i just now was kicked off, logged in again and try to get back to the station again half way there I got kicked off again, and now I cannot get back in. The "start" button is grey and it say now my client launcher is too old ??? funny yesterday I couldn't download the game because my client launcher was too new... I wish FD could make up their mind :D :(

It was downloading all day - got home, booted it up, played for five minutes, got kicked out, was told my client is out of date, exited launcher, reopened launcher, and now it's downloading again... from scratch... at about 10% of my max download speed. It's a good thing I have Fallout 4 to keep me busy...

Hello,

I couldn't find a designated bug reporting thread, but here are all of the bugs I have come across.

1.) Planet terrain isn't loading properly with collision mesh. Collision mesh is loading under terrain material causing SRV to drive under ground. (Possibly caused by the collision mesh being generated with too few polygons?) (This is also causing all rocks generated on the surface to be floating above the terrain material)

2.) If you land on a planet station (In my case Geoppert-Mayor Depot on LHS 2429 - 1) and deploy SRV. There is no way to return to the ship (that I have found) and ship cannot be called.

3.) Cannot communicate with server crash. I have been kicked out of the game seven times in the past 30 minutes or so usually when getting out of frame shift. (Solo Mode)

Hope these help, and I apologize if I am posting to the wrong thread. As I said I could not locate a specific thread for bug reports.

Thanks!

There is a separate forum for bug reports here:

Please check out the stickies in this thread for info and known issues before posting.

This is why Kickstarters alpha ,premium beta backers should have the beta test to manny people are now on the servers .

No, this is why having all these people on the servers in the Beta phase is essential. Finding server congestion bugs is crucial before release. If the servers can't handle the user population with Beta access, think what would happen if this issue isn't fixed at the time of release!

Remember: The beta phase is for finding issues so they can be resolved before release, it's not there to give you a sneak peak and early access to game for your enjoyment. It's purely a bonus if you are enjoying beta playtime, but that is not it's primary purpose.

It will come. Just not right away.

They have stated that the moon is a bit special and will be available soon.

not 100% true, I have premium beta and I'm in... I got kicked out few times, with message that server stopped responding, but still I can get in...

I'm premium beta as well and no issue here. Contact support on your issue or post a bug in the bug forum...they will get it sorted out for you.

Congrats to the team! I've come full circle now, exactly where I was a year ago, endlessly watching twitch streams getting hyped - sure there are bugs but what I've seen is just STUNNING and very diverse, well done everyone truly historic stuff!

When i enter the new game i don't have my current primary ship (FDL) and my credits level is short by about 20M. I went in the old game and did a save and exit to desktop, re-entered the new beta 2 and i still don't have my ship or credits. Anyone else seen this issue?

You can't "update" your Beta save. It starts from a snapshot taken a while ago so all your stats will be different and you may well be in a different ship and a different place from where you last left the main game save. Your position, credit and progress in the main game are unaffected and you can return to them at any time. Anything you do in the Beta will be wiped when the Beta finishes and the general release of Horizons will continue from wherever you last left the main game.

WOW! Just WOW! Massive congratulations to the Frontier team! Landing on a planet for the first time last night quite literally sent shivers up my spine! Couple that with my home made VR headset and the experience was breathtakingly immersive! Well done guys this really is literally a "Game Changer"!!

So much for having it ready for all by 30 November. Disappointed is not the word I'd choose at this moment! It feels like some backers have been landed a left-hook then sucker punched. Ridiculous! :(

No,..a 'Premium Lifetime Expansion Pass' Beta tester here (-its mouth watering) !. A couple of hitches for some of us; -it sounds like a Beta test...

Yup, its a surprise...I'm guessing the many different player purchase conditions, are a bit in coding conflict.

Hi Michael,

Minor point: Would it be possible to make the newly created music available to the people who have the digital download for the soundtrack? I mean eventually, not right away. Just update the downloads with new music every season or something like that.

Cheers and thanks to the whole team for yet another splendid release. Had a boatload of fun finding bugs yesterday evening.
