Always go for wanted NPC's or players
With the new C&P that is almost every new player
Always go for wanted NPC's or players

<buys an Imperial cutter, abandons it in the station it was bought from >
okay, so there's that issue handled so I don't go bankrupt multicrew'ing with my mates....

That seems like a rather dramatic step, just to avoid the penalties which might be incurred during MC.
Don't forget, a Cutter "only" costs Cr208m.
A fairly "average" Python is going to cost more than that.
For that you work, you'd probably have to pump at least a billion credits into your "sacrificial" ship - just to avoid MC fines/bounties.
Personally, I find this idea of applying fines to your most expensive ship kind of wacky.
You and everyone else not liking do realize why this was done right? I mean it's kind of obvious why such a measure was taken.
Big hint. One of the earliest posts in response here is the type of behavior that causes these kind of measures to be taken.
Still kinda wish FD applied "your most expensive ship gets fined" to the habitual offenders you refer to instead of wiping everyones slate clean and hitting us all with this goofery. Only ppl this really kicks in the butt are the poor noobs imo.
Seems like phoning it in to me.
If your most expensive ship is already docked in Anarchy system when you commit a crime then you shouldn't loose access to your ship, right?

It's almost as if the way multi crew works is a bit stupid, sort of like the new c&p. If something needs to be as long winded as this, then perhaps it needs to be taken back to the drawing board...
I'd have to agree with this ^
I'm in Quince doing some planetary surface scan missions, and these INEVITABLY incur a trespass bounty while scanning the mission objective. So that's like intended game mechanics. So not being able to repair, refuel or rearm, and Quince being 270ly away from "Civilization"... You get the picture.
I have a feeling FD doesn't really want us to play this game anymore.
