How to share missions with team members?

Hello people,

Has anyone figured out how to share on-foot missions with team members? In their gameplay demo they showed 3 users doing a mission together however when my buddies join my team the mission is not active/visible for them. This was also the case during the alpha as we tested however I assumed this was a bug.

Its mind boggling to me that this feature does not exist? How is this a MMO release? Yet you can't even play or share experiences with your friends? I'm beyond words at this point that this is what they gave us.

It's similar to the original launch of the game. Wings/teams didn't exist until the first major patch (which was about 4-6 months after release) and then the missions for it came somewhat later on. I imagine the same will happen here.

I don't think so no.

There's no doubt team missions are required. I made this point clear in the alpha test but there's no way they could have implemented it by now. Just need to keep beating that drum.

For now, the best we can hope for is that you can each get the same mission and it'll work if you do it at the same time. I can't see how that'll be true for all mission types though.

This is quite ridiculous, they show off marketing material with coop gameplay when in the game there is zero support for this style of gameplay, no incentives at all.
False advertisement, how have they not learned from making an MMO that didn't have any wing missions for multiple years and failing so hard at multi-crew to then follow it up with no support at all and false marketing, feel lied to honestly.

Well there's an icon for Team Missions...so let's hope they are going to spawn soon !!!!!

Is that icon not used for wing-missions? (If you got to your ship's mission board instead of the one on the terminal) or are those gone entirely?

Regardless, here's hoping for this feature to arrive as soon as possible, considering we already had shareable wing missions, this shouldn't be too hard!

I mean even STAR CITIZEN in their super early access pre-alpha has the ability to share missions with group/team mates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far we've tested restore missions and if everyone has the same one then it updates for everyone (and it's trivial for all of the team to get the same mission with the way the missions work in Odyssey). At some point we'll check them all.

So as for now, we can go altogether to the same concourse and get the same mission ? That could be a workaround while they allow to directly share missions...

That's what I've been doing since week 1 or 2 of the Alpha. Back then there were issues with the 2nd or 3rd player turning up having 'kill 0/0 npcs' in their Hud, but it's okay in the release.

It's good to meet at the station first to ensure you're all in the same instance, too.

And is it enough to be in the same team to get the kills or do you have to hit the target?
