I can’t take it anymore!

That is until you realise skillfull use of the sca allows you to save heaps of time travelling to targets because it allows you to drop out of wake at superluminal speeds in many cases and guarantees drop out speeds up to 0.1 c in any case.
My record dropout speed at jameson memorial stands at 4c still and 11c for an high grade emmision.
Because watching a timer is at least half of this games play the sca is an invaluable tool for doing pretty much everything.

I have yet to figure out what allows for superluminal dropouts at station closely orbiting a body, i suspect it has something to do with passing through the gravwell of the nearby body at the right angle, in any case if i dont try my luck and pull throttle high on the 5seconds i can drop out at any station while traveling at way beyond the regular 1000 mm dropout speed

Yep, I activate it on my transport ships before to land at fast speed like hell at 0,4 or 0,5 , it is not at all a solution for lazy people, quite the contrary, ready and fast people 😁

Seems like similar trick that was common with Frontier First Encounters. Accelerate untill quite close to target, engage autopilot and put timescale to max. And magically you are in vicinity of your target, within reasonable speeds.
Yes,I didn't play the FE, but it's something like that, you practically enter like a missile in the instances, and saves you a lot of time on each trip .

Though FFE:s autopilot could also kill you depending on route, and luck. I think trick with time acceleration to max was to minimise route&physics calculations, minimising risk of autopilot murdering you :D

Thank you I learned something new today.
