There are certain people replying in this (and other) threads, and sadly, it is clear that FD are listening to these people and changing the game to suit them, or even not changing the game because the 'yes men' completely dismiss all legitimate concerns.
Interdictions are incredibly buggy and always have been, with escape vectors jerking around, flashing, disappearing etc. leading to frequent FSD failures at no fault of our own.
With the new changes, even if I submit (in an A-rated ASP Explorer), I am lucky to get away without losing my shields in seconds and maybe escape with 70-80% hull left.
If I suffer from FSD failure due to it's buggy behaviour, by the time I can jump away I am down to 20-40% hull, or I am simply torn to pieces and down just shy of 1 million credits.
Alternatively, I can turn and fight, and die that way, because the ASP no longer stands a chance against most NPC ships (God love the people flying even smaller ships!).
When your rebuy cost is nearly 1 million credits, and you only have about 12 million credits in the bank, the OP NPCs combined with the buggy interdictions is kind of soul destroying.
I even had one mission where I was out in the SRV collecting cannisters to complete the mission and an OP NPC appeared and started to attack my ship! Luckilly I had landed right beside the crash site, but by the time I was back in the ship and taking off I had 30% hull and no shields...I literally had no way to defend my ship...
Did FD sit around a big table and David Braben said "I know what we should do, we should change the balance in the next update to make as many people as we can feel even more powerless and penniless than they already felt, especially the people with smaller ships and less money!" and everyone around the table just nodded in agreement?
