No, FFE galaxy was presented from the opposite point of the galactic plane. If we assume ED galaxy map is viewed from above the galactic plane, then FFE was from below. Try turning the FFE map so it aligns with ED map. Put SOL in the middle and Polaris on your left hand, as in ED. Where are the Pleiades now? Below SOL? No, they're above SOL. So you need to mirror the old map to get the right layout.
