Well, there is one report from someone claiming to have seen
Bigfoot Raxxla years earlier:
You'll have to ask him how it was he found out that it was he. (As said above, I can't remember) I'll pass. To be honest, if Michael Brookes pm'd me and said: We stuck Raxxla somewhere random It's so trivial you can go there and not notice We've been telling people when they've missed it I'd...
forums.frontier.co.uk
It sparked a bit of an egg-hunt along the possible route but I guess it didn't turn up anything.
Then you have achieved True Raxxla
Yeah, just as the Codex states that it is, by some people, seen as some sort of "cosmic enlightenment" i guess that's what i would call it for me.
Regarding the Thread you linked, i had a quick look through the post in question and some posts after that one and i agree 100% - That could be something happening to different players all the time, who just don't know about it and keep on moving.
The only thing that i know for a fact is:
I will probably never stop searching.
And that seems to be the whole point of Raxxla, from FDev's perspective.
It is indeed like ancient El Dorado or other similar mysteries of our world, but in space. People like me are curious, interested in the mysterious "unknown" which can not be known. I'm not a "paranormal hunter" or anything, i'm in fact very scientific in regards to life.
I base my observations on scientific fact, not ghost stories. - And regarding Raxxla the simple truth of the matter is that we don't have much to go on.
What's even more interesting to me is that the Dark Wheel seems to be in search for that place for over a hundred years. El Dorado has been sought after for over 4 centuries in real life. I doubt anybody would ever find that, same with Raxxla. El Dorado and other comparable things of our real world might be all the same thing.
A story to inspire the curious minds to go out there and search. Search for the new and unknown.
