Oh, you do seem to have a fixation of people enjoying the game that doesn't provide you with whatever you seek. So, to summarize. All 5 of you are very content with the state of the game. Having a dwindling player base, power creep due to Fdev being unable to generate interesting content because of constraints in their design philosophy and a hyper focus on solo play.
That's great. Then why do any of you care if the game were to implement player based content? None of it would affect you or your solo mode. You can change as many BGS in systems your heart desires and make a huge pointless bank account!
Why are you concerned with end game content at all? Why did you even poke in here. Do you have a recommendation for end game content? Or is just saying I like few player I met, I like doing nothing in my totally sweet ship... was that the whole point?
You're not proving me wrong or hurting my point at all. Now what are valid end game suggestions? What keeps people in open. How do you maintain this dwindling player base?
This is better, but a good idea going forward would be discussing concepts as opposed to people and perceptions. It tends to be a bit more productive. With that in mind, I'll press forward as if that was the case in the quotes above. So, to summarize. All 5 of you are very content with the state of the game. Even funnier is your assuming that they all play in solo... open your mind, exercise your comprehension skills, read what is written... I don't seem to recall mentioning solo anywhere, nor playing all by myself...
Any more veiled insults up your sleeve? - you have kept me chuckling for hours already, do keep it up, laughter is a great medicine they say![]()
The same way anyone gets more people into anywhere -- successful engagement and a compelling reason. Apple does it with iGarbage and catchy advertising. Dominos does it with cheap carryout all week. I get the impression the issue may be with failure to realize these two things. What is the content you want, and what is your current marketing plan as far as pitching that to the playerbase goes?Sooooooo.... how do you get people into open? I've provided a number of examples. Citation required, please.Yes. All 5k of them. .success!!
Not sure what "end game content" is being referred to here, can you please elaborate?A dwindling player base in improving end game content.
Just because people are able to enjoy the game as it sits right now doesn't mean they don't want it to get better. It also doesn't mean that they are happy with the way things are right now. Because being able to enjoy a game and being happy with the way it sits in its current state are two completely separate things. So, to summarize. All 5 of you are very content with the state of the game. Having a dwindling player base, power creep due to Fdev being unable to generate interesting content because of constraints in their design philosophy and a hyper focus on solo play.

I propose a duck huntOrganise an event in Open.
Hunt mind you, no killing Old Duckie. A game of tag. You fire a repair limpet, if it hits, you score. Or something.Meanwhile, I've been pirating (not killing) new players in Open, and we all seem to be enjoying ourselves.
I don't know if you've noticed by now but if there's any talk of content that isn't for solo players they go into a rage and throw temper tantrums. Either all content has to be for them or no one gets content. Even though the PvP and PVE combat community have not only had no content for them but have had their content nerfed or removed all together, all content better be for solo players or else they'll rage. So, to summarize. Now that's probably an awful idea, since I'm not too familiar with what you guys like to get into.

"Stop playing the victim"This discussion is about people not playing in open. A dwindling player base in improving end game content. How are YOU not comprehending that? Stop playing victim and provide some "meaningful" argument.
You're more than welcome to pitch ideas yourself, you know.I don't know if you've noticed by now but if there's any talk of content that isn't for solo players they go into a rage and throw temper tantrums. What, as 'meaningful' as you own - that is priceless! This discussion is about people not playing in open. A dwindling player base in improving end game content. How are YOU not comprehending that? Stop playing victim and provide some "meaningful" argument.
You're the proof in my puddingThis.
We are doing our little event for more then a year now, and it's amazing how much fun we have and how many people turned up for our cause.
I'm not sure if you've noticed but excluding distant world's, the PvP community has organized more events than any other group of players in eliteOrganise an event in Open.
