Newcomer / Intro I'm looking for a group!

So i'd better find a group. Total newbie here, less than ten hours play but eager for more. Looking for sociable group who don't take things too seriously. I live in UK and play either mornings or nights. Voice coms would be great and have TS and Ventrillo ready. Am primarily PvE player but will see how it goes as PvP always toxic in every game i have ever played.

I am new also.
Aussie just jumping around in my hauler doing missions, play most nights, depending on and split between World of Tanks and my wife and kids. Prefer discord but have TS also. Currently getting around the Federation area i Bootis, Eranin, etc but happy to move.
Prefer to be good aligned rather than a pirate and generally play support roles in most games I play - happy to continue that pattern in my space life.

Welcome to the game...There is a lot to learn..but with enough time and some good friends you can be flying an ANACONDA in no time...I run a small mature group 40+ we are a laid back group that loves to help new CMDR's Get started..So if your interrested in making some money and meeting some great guys this could be the group for you. come check us out. Looking for a group

Hi Cmdrs!

Im kind of new in the game i would say despite my 350h+ in the game. one of my goals its to get an Anaconda but ive been struggling making money for it.
So decide to look for a group that could help me to improve the way i play to archive that goal.

I like exploring and trading, i do some bounty hunting at times. i try to be all around lol.

When you say you generally play a support role, you mean you camp in the spawn with a TD in World of Tanks lol :D:D

My first post and I'm already insulting people lol. I joke of course Steel. I love WoT also. I'm a complete newbie to Elite so thought I would introduce myself. I love the game so much I bought an X52 Pro in the Amazon sale, EDTracker Wireless, Voice Attack, and William Shatner. Just need to set it all up and learn how to play the game [big grin]

I really want to join a group, as I love voice chat for even more immersion, but I want to get at least 2.5 Million in the kitty before I do that.

So I'm going to post here, I'm a mature, or should I say immature adult looking for a PvE based private group(I'm Australian to give you an idea on timezone +10), I would rather help then kill. I have had the game a long time and a decent amount of play time, but instancing issues I had in the past meant the game was a singleplayer experience for me 95% of the time and I ended up not playing shotly after engineers update I think. I was convinced some how by some friends to pick it up again and give it another go and the instancing issues have all gone it looks. I did join another player group a long time ago, now I feel because I've been inactive for over a year they aren't the group for me. Currently I'm running around unlocking engineers and upgrading my ship to see what I like(I stopped just after this feature came to live and getting materials was a huge pain). I find myself lately hanging around CGs, bounty hunting, killing ships for power play to get all the cool stuff seeing there's storage now or driving around on planets collecting materials. I have a group that you might like. We are based in federal space and we are trying to build a faction but it's all very casual. We have members that go off exploring or trading from time to time but check in on Discord for some group chat. It'll keep you sane out there. We don't expect members to take part in missions, it's all optional but you'd be surprised how helpful a trader or explorer selling their wares in a station can be to a faction. Right now I've got about 101 hours playing without a group, doing trading and making credits, I think I would enjoy finding a group I can get along with and have fun playing with. I'm alright with RP groups, and my leanings are towards the Empire, BUT I am not part of any particular faction at the moment and am open to others. you can message me or reply here I guess? look forward to flying with you commanders [big grin]

Currently flying my first Sidewinder. I mostly want to trade with a view to more activities in the later game (basically relive my trading days from the original game and Frontier: Elite II). I am looking for a mature and social group.

Faction-wise, I like the look of Aisling Duval... no particular reason!

Hi Vienne,

I recommend a group called the silverbacks to anyone that enjoyed the original Elite games. I don't represent them myself, I'm what you people refer to as a 'whipper snapper' or something. I certainly always enjoy their adverts and they seem like a fun bunch plus they don't have a superpower allegiance so the Aisling Duval thing wouldn't be an issue.
