Impossible passenger mission quantities

Yes or at least have luxury missions...you know....available. I'm allied in several tourist systems and I almost never see them. I have one class 6 luxury cabin stored for my Orca and I don't think I've ever used it. Yes it would be an easy fix but since 99.9% players don't use the Beluga to shoot anything FD ignores it.

Yes, the frequency of these missions is pretty dire. I would see them fairly regularly at Parutis, but they were only ever marginally more lucrative – nowhere near enough to mark out the dedicated liners. We should be regularly transporting the "great and good" for an absolute premium.
 
I think what he's trying to say is that the premier passenger ship is being out-passengered by non-passenger ships, a point to which is 100% fact and dumb. There is no reason to have a Beluga until FDev fixes its capacities.

The Beluga does have a tiny niche, which is a problem for those who want to use it for a practical purpose, but the argument that there are single passenger missions that the ship is categorically unable to take is false.

Regardless, I think more use for luxury cabins is the answer, not turning the Beluga into a bulk transport for the unwashed masses of steerage class passengers.
 
don't want to use annaconda, corvette or cutter - as these are geared up in my shipyard for other purposes.
I wanted to use the Beluga as it's the best (apparently not) and most pretty.

I agree with earlier post - alter the Beluga's module config so we can fit more luxury/first class cabins by allowing a lower class of shield generator.

I'ld like to use my Courier as well but its simply not going to work. Get over it... You know what the solution is. Its not that these missions are not doable - you just want to do the mission in a ship that can't complete it.
 
As I noticed recently, a Beluga's internals look very similar to those of a Python when you've allowed for a shield (which has to be a size 6 for a Beluga, but could be a 3 for a Python). Here's what you'd have left:

Beluga: 6 6 6 5 5 4 3 3 3 3
Python: 6 6 6 5 5 4 3 2

There have been various suggestions to buff the Beluga, I liked the one involving a one-step size increase to 3 slots: a locked size 5 becomes a 6, the unlocked 4 becomes a 5, and one of the 3's becomes a 4.

Or having modules that are ship class specific.? Like.... like the ships have actual ROLES, and people need to use different ships for different things?

What a novel idea! But it won't catch on, at least not in ED.
 
I think the Beluga should have something like this:

6666655543333

In other words two additional class six and one additional class five optional compartements. And they should not be restricted. Then the Beluga would become the top notch passenger liner for all kinds of passenger missions...

So guy complains to equip the premier PASSENGER ship with enough space to complete a passenger mission he has to run no shields,no scoop etc.

You then compare that to being the same as not being able to do that in a SMALL FIGHTER.

If you cant see the problem,go home,your drunk.
 
The solution ive seen mentioned before that sounds best to me is dedicated passenger module slots. Add an extra slot and make it passenger cabin only.

That way it solves the beluga's problem without making it better at other activities.
