Information Regarding AX Combat Bond Reward Revisions

I’m sure I’m not the only person who doesn’t care too much about the thargoid cash situation. It’s still plenty.
But it does cut deeper when kills don’t register, don’t add to stats, rankings or mission totals.
The only known solution is to only play thargoid CZs in solo which, for me, defeats the whole community aspect of the war.
Example: played in AXI PG yesterday. Ran 3 full CZ including hydra. Took 600 mill home. Credited with 9 scouts, 2 cyclops, 1 hydra.

I’d say this is a higher priority fix than the drop in pocket money.

I agree if FDs plan is using mission rewards to offset bond rewards.
 
Sounds like you weren't really killing them but were part of a much larger group.
With the payouts still being quite large and requiring not much individual work when there is a large group present, I think it's only fair that mission progression is restricted and only guaranteed when the cmdr/wing are the only ones involved.
If you have to rely on other players outside of your wing to complete the mission, you probably shouldn't be attempting it.
I'm sorry what? lmao So just because I'm not in a team with the other people I'm fighting with, my several heart destructions on a hydra are invalidated? Get outta here. If it was limited to people who could destroy some hearts that's one thing.

indeed. funnily enough in some ways I would be much less generous. the fact a player can get full pay on a thargoid kill with just a few stray shots could be considered incredibly generous of the game...... and (maybe not with thargoids) you see this a lot, or players in a wing just staying docked and getting 5% pay on trade runs whilst AFK, or sitting in mukticrew whilst doing nothing.

I would allow active participants to get the recognition for a thargoid kill regardless of if in a wing or not........ but essentially passive passengers would get nowt. (mission or bonds).

that would go down like a fart in an elevator however so FD would probably best keeping the bonds pay as they are.

IF it were credit inflation FD were worried about (would be hilarious to use that argument imo) then they could split all payments of combat bonds based on the number of people actively involved in a kill. (another suggestion which FD probably wouldn't and maybe even shouldn't implement but would be "fair")

I honestly don't care too much about disallowing people to get money off of a tap, though i can see why some people might dislike that. It's just one of those things that simply doesn't affect my personal enjoyment of the game because it does not affect anything im doing. And in some ways it allows me get a little bonus money once in a while. I have to work for 90% of my kills most of the time so I just take it as a personal bonus. That being said i wouldn't be getting pitchforks or something if it was changed.

I will however get upset at the mission credit as this actively affects me. While it's definitely not a big deal if i haven't put much work in. If im spending a long time fighting something only for someone to jump in and get the last blow moments after jumping in due to having a pre-made wing who can outdps me due to them having multiple ships... Yeah. Im going to be upset. Solo is a solution but it's not a fun solution compared to some of novelty of having a war mechanic like this to do it isolated away from open i feel. But it matters little i supoose! I don't expect them to change it for better or worse in the near future

Nah, if you want to stack missions and get proper credits for the kills - do it in solo or with a wing in PG
IT's more than enough that you can get 150 millions just for faffing around with a Sidey and a laser while the end Hydras get toasted by the AX guys.

And if you're in for the credits, just forget the missions and just swap instances like hell and tag every interceptor that pops - you'll get more credits than from missions.
