Elite isn’t dead, the community is still alive, but from the other hand comes really tiny steps.
So they had full focus on pc, but still some major bugs are in the game especially due to the release of EDO , no signs that they will be vanished. And this point should be a clear task for them. In all goodness of the new stuff, but there are a plenty’s of bugs and performance issues which should be fixed.
It’s not the playerbase who decide that an game is dead it is the company, and when there are so many issues which seems to be unsolved, it feels like, the game is dying from company side. (Yes I know they stated clearly that elite will have a future) but this didn’t shows in the company’s actions.
For me, I’ve switched the side to pc, and in every run I see some minor bugs and some huge bugs. Especially the on foot stuff need some urgend help. No need to repeat the performance issues at high Groundcombat zones or other stuff.
I’ve love to play the game, but with each update the game feels like Spagetti and the response of Fdev needs to long to fix this issues, and when we get a update it’s ignores most of the older bugs and fixes the new bugs. I mean how long we will have the stealth planets in SC or the bugged ground missions?
So then, last words, elite isn’t dead, but the efforts to stabilize and optimize the games are at the moment to low, the issue tracker seems to have tiny impact. I miss the major bug list of them.
In all hope that this Little Rock will be thrown aside and Frontier engage with some good bug fixing and performance optimizing updates (in their words interims).
