Not really weighing in on either side of the argument but I would like to ask a question.
I own a Python, an A spec python which i use when i need to trade stuff. So I'm not a Python hater but I have to ask the community this question because I recently reviewed the Python in my ship review series on youtube and, having tried out many many other ships (my usual being the FDL, again A spec) I found myself asking one question..
What exactly are the Pythons weaknesses?
I know the obvious choice would be speed/ maneuverability. Speed is only a weakness if you are not going to win the fight but with SCB mechanics being what they are a python is going to win a war of attrition so we'll bench the speed argument. I personally have never found the Python Maneuverability to be a drawback given its harpoint placement and available power for big weapons so where exactly is it weak?
If it's intended to be the 'best ship in the game', which lets face it, it is right now due to its versitility and capabilities in all roles it is, then fair enough, I will say no more. But if not then to me at least, it does seem a bit OP even post nerf.
Like i said i own one, I'm not someone who hates on the Python from afar. I just want to get some clarification here from other players.
