I wonder why they even let you post to an old Post can't they just clos the post to further commenting? I've seen many posts on other sites before where the post says the post is closed for further commenting because it's outdated so just because I can post on this leads me to believe that maybe they should put a function in place that actually closes the post after a certain amount of days weeks months whatever and then no one will have to worry about it however it does give
a chance for everybody to post there amusing little dancing skeletons which I find really funny
That function would have to be rather complicated, as we have threads that (legitimately) run more or less continously for years. Which, in the end, would lead to even more work for the mods. Instead, when and if they officially notice a true necro thread, one of them might need to step in and close it manually.
If you want to try it, just report (bottom left of the post) any of your (or mine, for that matter) posts in this thread as necro to the mods.

Free keyboard macro program. Supports hotkeys for keyboard, mouse, and joystick. Can expand abbreviations as you type them (AutoText).
You can set up the entire thing to be a single key combo such as Ctrl-Alt-L
As long as it isn't already allocated in the game, you just run AutoHotKey with the profile, and those configurations in the profile become "binds" for you that communicate the process to the game.

By the way... just for my edification of the Elite's unwritten rules... exactly how "OLD" does a Post need be before it's considered "Necro"? A month, a year, 3 weeks? What?
