to be fair Michael Brooks is executive producer, you can't get much more official than that.

from my understanding the dely was caused by the books and as such beyond FD's control, now they have them they can size the packaging to fit and that's not the sort of thing that can be done in a day.

Posting something on Facebook doesn't count as official. Nor would a post on page 57 of a thread in the forums somewhere. To count, it's either gotta be in the store, emailed or a stickied thread, or the front page of the web site. Somewhere you'd expect such information to be.


What books?
The only book we are getting is the sequal to "The Dark Wheel". And that is being written by Michael Brooks, as as such is fully totally under the control of Frontier. As you point out, he is executive producer. I don't imagine it's hard to call a book printing company and say "I need X books of Y pages printed. What is the cost and time?" After all, they've had well over two years to plan this.

Should my son and I have received our 2 boxed physical copies by now?

Been out of the loop for over a year due to lack of a computer thanks to the ex wife. Should my son and I have received our 2 boxed physical copies and T's by now? If so where or who should I go to, to resolve it?

I had posted this in the private backers forum but the mods closed the post and asked me to repost here:

Alas no.
As there has been no update and no mention in the newsletters I am presuming FD are kicking this into the long grass.
I've now had it with the frontier bull that arose once they dropped offline.

I'm an 84'er but this whole experience leaves a really bitter taste.
Things have only got worse in respect of FD honouring their Kickstarter commitments.
I'd paid for a DRM free experience to allow my kids to play elite without me having to buy three copies. Seems the multiple commanders won't arrive until hell freezes over.

I'll get a letter out to FD seeking a refund - no point using the ticket system as these issues get ignored.
I just hope this has to go to court...

no desire to argue with you mate but:

1: "should be" implies will be! unless something has happened so that it wasn't possible! if that was the case then it should have been communicated, after all such a thing must have occurred before the end of the month?
2: read other posts, we've had "should be", "are due to be" and "soon", there is an expression, "get off the pot or..."
I don't know if you have physical rewards due or not! but even if so, not your place to criticise somebody for asking a valid question about something they are due!
