One is a question, the other is a demand. Since the original content is a question, that is what I went with.It means
"Gib mir dein Graffel, bitte!"
But go ahead and use it in an english sentence. We call the combination Denglish.

Who knows? I'm sure they had their reasons? I certainly do not know what they are. And I'm not going to guess or assume.Just wondering why the other 39 streams haven't been massively downvoted then?
@Zac CockenHey Piglet,
At the moment we're focusing on some of the big hitter feedback regarding PowerPlay that have been circulating for a while, for example, the idea of 'Open-only' PowerPlay. We're weighing up the pros and cons of both, as well as the technical aspect, and once we have a decision we'll feed that back, but I can't put a timescale on that considering a lot of focus is on Odyssey at the moment. Once we have a handle on the bigger things, I think it would be a good idea to have a focused feedback thread.
Just wondering why the other 39 streams haven't been massively downvoted then?
Yes I know that, it was a rhetorical statement... which is why I wished Arf hadn't promised to be frank and honest (paraphrasing here), it's clearly not company policy.
Don't write cheques that you can't cash and all that.
No, this is Elite Dangerous. You're thinking of Planet Zoo.Clearly there is an elephant in the room.
Just in case this is lost in my posts - whenever I refer to the CMs by name who I really mean is Frontier the company, it's nothing personal at all - and when it comes to Arf, I actually think he's doing a great job, Frontier will do well to retain him. Whether he's willing to put up with what he's given, who knows but he himself.Well, i'm sure Arf is trying to be as honest and frank as he can be.
I trust Arf as a person a lot. As a CM, i know his hands are tied.

What you say is reasonable, but "when thye're ready" is completely unquantifiable, and sounds very much like FD's "business as usual". I would suggest that they really don't want to be giving that impression in the current climate.I'm not sure asking them to share stuff before they're ready is reasonable. It's just going to lead to things like the "dev livestream / dev update post" mega complaint thread.
I mean, seriously, close to 100 pages (across the various threads and forums combined), just on the official forums, discussing how bad it was that Frontier had said there'd be a dev livestream but actually there was a dev forum post (containing the same information).
Message - I think - they received loud and clear: it's better to say nothing than to say something which turns out not to be 100% correct.
"You said X, now you're saying Y, you lied to us" -> "Okay, we'll wait until we're 100% confident before talking."
"You aren't telling us anything" -> "Okay, we'll say some things which aren't currently 100% certain."
Repeat forever.

Whereas, releasing a DLC at full retail price that is clearly nowhere near ready is right out of the top draw. There are ways to provide criticism which are not hostile, damaging, toxic or petty. A down vote is simply petty. IMO.
Isn't that just the other shoe falling when you fund a title based on great expectations for the future following a limited launch.
IF Elite had just launched with a this is what you get pay £40 and if you like it keep it if not refund then I would be with you.
But FDs entire pitch was based around their vision, having faith in them and being patient..... The problem with this is that then removes any right to refund because if you wait 3 years or so keeping the faith then your consumer rights go out of the window.
7 years on with the game nothing like what I expected , but more importantly not really that much like the game pitched imo I think some players who are disappointed are well within their rights to voice that disappointment (within the rules of the forum).
ED is littered with features which released and were begging to be developed but we're instead seemingly dropped and left hanging.
It's a damn shame imo.
If the game works well for you and ticks your boxes then great, but I don't think you should chastise those who it doesn't work properly for for voicing their issues.
Frontier have my money for elite so "so what if Mad Mike is disappointed" you may ask... The thing is I backed ED on good faith. It is the last time I will ever do that with a frontier product again.
I will now only buy their stuff when I can get a finished version... Which is good for me I save a bundle. Their other games I bought cost me pennies.
I had a lower bar, I was trusting Frontier to add content that matched their hopes for the game.trusting the devs will add later content that matches your hopes for the game.

1. When will performance improve?So while you're here, What's top 5 questions?
its almost like people are watching it after the fact because they live in other countries and couldn't watch it when it was liveCurrently the stream has 247 downvotes, so overnight people have been visiting a stream that had long finished to downvote it.
That certainly says something about pettyness.
