But that is still not "they went back on their word". Not at launch means not at launch. It doesn't mean it will or won't be later, only that it won't be in at launch.
As a VR player I am pretty annoyed about it, but this is not an example of "FD lying", but just a case of them doing something I don't like. It's good to make the distinction, and better to not read into corporate statement things it doesn't say.

Nope, it has been IMO a genuine organic response to FD going back to business as usual while the PAID DLC is still in disarray did you take time to read the 100+ comments on the stream?Sounds about average for the 'viewers' to me...

This is just silly. If they want the news, they watch the stream. If the stream is lacking, they leave a downvote. If the quality has decreased since last time, they leave a downvote. It is there for a reason, and expressing your disatisfaction with the content (or lack thereof) isn't petty, nor is it immature.
Maybe because "the end of June" has come and gone, which was when Arf categorically stated on streams and a Lave radio interview this:
Arf... "Give us until the end of June and we will be able to see were we are and we will give a comprehensive update on that and plans for the future."
Lave..." I don't want to tie you to a specific date"
Arf..." No....I'm giving you a specific date, the end June"

Thoes people would have to watch the stream to know the content, then they can make a mature decision to like or dislike.

Those people could actually READ THE ANNOUNCEMENT, then they wouldn't have to watch the stream to decide, they would already know and not come with unrealistic expectations.

Any particular comment? Pretty normal comments from the look of it... Or at least, nothing that bucks the trend.
As the first comment on the page currently is a rant about not having Ship Interiors, it does tend to set the tone, doesn't it?

You are assigning motives to people Ian and demanding them take actions that only you are happy with. That isn't going to go well. Nor are people going to do as you say because you call them immature or simple-minded
open only anything doesn't solve anything because anyone interested in exploiting the game to their advantage will just connect via open and close p2p connections to other players on the network level.
So with almost no effort ...you completely circumvent the entire purpose. That's ignoring those who have not done that network change and just dont instance with people due to the normal way the game behaves.
I see no benefit to tying anything to modes as long as the networking backend remains as it is in the game.
Nevertheless, they did. IMO it was probably unrealistic to expect no dissatisfaction to be expressed regardless of the itinerary. Clicking the dislike button is about the mildest form a viewer can express dissatisfaction.
lol. I've read thru the thread. (all of it) Seem to care a great deal more about down votes than a mod would normally care. Perhaps a vacation would help?
You didn't mention google, youtube or anything else. You accused FDev of failing to provide a promised patch. They haven't promised a patch 6. I was responding to that point. I note you've ignored that and gone off on a different tangent. You want a patch 6? So do all of us - we want enough patches to fix EDO. But claiming FDev have broken promises by not providing something they have never promised is a breathtaking logical fallacy. They never promised "Patch 6". So their failure to provide it cannot constitute a broken promise.
