I am having the same issue. I wish I had found this thread before uninstalling the game...Now I get the Manifest Checksum error and I cannot install it back.

I also had this problem. Went to Internet Options (Windows) and deleted temp files and cookies. Launcher was then able to validate and downloaded about 500 megs. Both of my accounts using the native Frontier launcher now work.

Managed to get the Min launcher to work with my Frontier log in. In German only (my native language), but hey.

Fdev need to tell us that there is a problem sooner, so we wouldn't try the re-install

Only doing it as, I had tried a fresh install when it didn't work earlier. I was getting the manifest error. But at least it is starting to install. Fingers crossed.

Hi everyone, We are still working on this. Some players are once again able to launch in after restarting steam and the launcher, so please give that a try.

We are aware that this fix hasnt worked for everyone though so if you aren't able to get in, please bear with us and I'll update again as soon as I have any more information.

It's some bizarre ****. One of my charaters can enter, the other can not. Both on Frontier launcher (have not yet tried the Steam and Epic accounts).

Hi, Cleared my browser cache, but other than that nothing. It must be something they have identified as my game is now installing. Shame that whatever it was, was not picked up before they made the alteration, however it is a complicated beast.

Read the Minilauncher's README file, it explains how to add language setting in the settings.json file in the %.LocalAppdata% folder

PC, can confirm this worked for me (FDev launcher):
Go to Internet Options, under General tab click Delete, I had checked "Preserve Favorites", "Temporary Internet files" and "History" (other boxes were unchecked).... hit Delete... launcher and game works.
(Guess you could try to skip clearing History.)
