Yeah, sorry.... I was told earlier I didn't understand words because this is a launcher issue so it's not servers and so they are "good". Except we all know that text means nothing, even when the whole player base can't get in the status is always good.perhaps not. I don't follow TBH. maybe literally the server status is good but surely the spirit of the message is whether you can get in or not

Yep, thanks. Worked for me on Steam, although I didn't need to validate and downloadI also had this problem. Went to Internet Options (Windows) and deleted temp files and cookies. Launcher was then able to validate and downloaded about 500 megs. Both of my accounts using the native Frontier launcher now work.
Cmdr, were you trying to re-install from scratch, or update an existing installation?
did the launcher actually allow you to re-install? I can't even do this as I get the checksum error nowwell it good to know that Im not the only one, and I have multiple accounts.
so far I tried 3 and none work.
I have rebooted.
uninstalled and then installed.
rebooted internet.
Verifying files within the launcher also gets stuck at 0%
nothing seems to solve the problem.
hope Frontier can fix this quick
