Lego Asp Scout (UCS minifig 1:96ish scale) update

Thats all looking really good! (y)
What are the tyres from on the SRV?
I got this at Xmas- the SRV uses these wheels plus two technic hubs at the back (as proxies since I need two more 'real' wheels.

I'll be revisiting the SRV now I know what folds up and fits :D

While things are simmering away a quick update of cleaning up the cockpit and nearby areas:

The main improvements are that the main elements of the cockpit frame are more authentic and lines made simpler, the wedge 'collar' behind the cockpit is now more square and accurate; M point covers now work (not clear on photos), lower cockpit has more accurate frame, and some proportions changed.

I remember a few years back when you posted the first photo of the framework for this LEGO build. And I just remember thinking: "That's going to be costly. And It's going to take some time."

I started working on a scratch built model of mankind's first interstellar explorer ship. It's got nothing to do with ED though or any other scifi franchise, it's just made up, but will have recognisable real space technology such as nuclear VASIMR engines, a Bussard ram scoop, Star trek style deflector array dish and realistic plutonium based power systems calculated to provide 2MW built in, and it's main hull habitation module is based on a couple of Hasagawa Space Shuttle kits stuck together.

The cut and shuttle job is going to be named: "The Endevour of Enterprise." But I'm not going to get back to it until I've cleared out my lower store room and turned it into a proper living room and built my new gaming/entertainment PC desk which will have space for two screens together with a well lit modelling work bay/photography white box and storage system for all my bits boxes efficiently built into one corner of the room to maximise the use of limited space available. The project is very likely to take me an eternity to complete, because it will also be a while before I can sort out the new living room, and I'm about to start getting very busy with work now. But when it is finally completed and painted up for display I will start work on her sister ship: "The Discovery of Atlantis." (Another cut and shuttle job).
