Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

Guys i'd just like to apologize for my lack of participation as of late. My job is killing me, exploring takes time, and my fastest way of making money is smuggling, and we dont have a CSG station with a Black Market as of now, so i'm barely dropping pennies into... whatever we drop pennies into.. I'll stick around and do what i can, but i'm sorry i cant do more.

I am well aware of this issue. I had this the last two weeks but any mission etc you do for Lugh and CSG is something in the big thing :)

And i have also to say sorry. I accepted/collected five elite anaconda assasination missions (as ueber PvE noob in ED) yesterday during my trading and couldnt do much trade this evening but i did a plenty of other fancy missions. Was in a hurry for the first anaconda pirate lord mission i ever did and managed to kill him a half an hour before expiring. Four to go now with less time pressure and does anyone of you have a suggestion for a good outfitting for an ASP to kill thos elite anacondas ?

Currently i use:

2xE2 Pulse Lasers
2xG1 Multi-Cannons
2xB1 Missile Racks
A5 Power Plant
A4 Thrusters
A4 Power Distributors
B6 Shield Generator
A4 Shield Cell Bank
2x Point Defences and a Chaff Launcher

Maybe switch to a cobra (cheaper repair costs) ? And what about Military Grade Composite Alloys are they usefull ?

Looks like Civil War pending between LDF and Silver Natural! Don't know what to think of that! .8% and .1% respectively...no stations. Looks like someone licked the red off someones candy.

Actually they have been into a civil war and they are in a civil war cooldown period now since around the 07.02.2015.

This pending states display bug has to be fixed...really annoying...

Edit PS: Yes it looks strange because LDF, DOF and LFE got +0.7% influence some days ago but not Silver Natural LTD.

I keep forgetting the stupid bug that keep shutting off the pending states. I would suggest that FD should mark something as cooldown instead of pending, just red text for pending and blue for cooldown would be plenty of clarity to allow people to track where the states are.

Yes they should. But the strange thing about this is that they statet it to be a bug fix in a prior patch before 1.1 and its still there. If i want to check the pending states of factions in a whole system i sometimes have to log off and on three times in a row ! Just annoying...

And please FD make this States and Pending States visually more appealing or detailed so that we can really see whats going on at the moment with every faction.

Ok time for bed.

Managed to kill all those elite anacondas but incase of credits i had to pay more to repair cost then the missions payed me off. Did about other 30 mission (didnt count exaclty) beside this but couldnt to any trade because of the assasination mission i had to complete.

Maybe i will sell all my ships tomorrow and buy me a type-9.

Gn8 !

I'm guessing there is no way to flip an individual station? Cuz there's that small one with the black market i would kill to have on our side.

Edit: Does anyone remember when the civil wars were kicking off and CSG had those missions requesting 4 billion creds? Does anyone even have 4 billion credits?

I use:

1 class 2 beam laser with fixed mount.
1 class 2 gimballed cannon
4 class 1 gimballed cannon.

Hit them with everything whether shield is up or down. :)

Civil war between two minor factions can cause station flipping.

As best as I can remember those missions were for 4 Million (not billion) and one evening I remember Orfeboy dropping everything and racing to Knight dock to pay one of them :)

This is a great idea.

NPCs or players from our neighboring systems must be picking up missions to Lugh. I've seen some from LTT 4846 for DOL and LDF. I always take them and abandom/betray them. NPCs??

That is very annoying! We worked very hard last night and still lost .2%.

The way I see it is there is either one of two things happening here. Either FD are playing with their programming on the servers or else we are seeing the fallout from Galnet drawing randomers to the system. Remember not everyone is in your instance or even playing in open. There are lots of people playing this game and all it would take would be maybe 5 or six times the numbers of what we have to give us a really hard time by them doing random missions. This is something we are going to have to weather until Galnet fever wears off amongst all the curious randomers. If we can at least stem the tide and keep our figure strong it will be worth it.

What concerns me more though is that when war breaks out will it also draw randomers who know nothing of our struggle here who will back the Federation? It will be imperitive that we get all our allies on the forum to return and help us. Otherwise the sheer numbers of curious players might counteract our efforts...

If it is Players and/or NPCs I don't understand how their actions could have such an effect - there was serious work put in yesterday. There'd want to be a lot of them working against us (intentionally or otherwise) which I don't think is the case. The ship count through the system hasn't increased that much. Has it?

Or are we looking at a situation of inertia i.e smaller force required to influence the less massive? Similarly, the bigger you get the harder it is to influence? Recent patch?

I'm not convinced. FD intervention? Perhaps. Keep fighting though.

I feel that the GalNet stories are like shooting ourselves in the foot. We've been working in this system for months without any pirate presence and steadily, but slowly, making an impact. When the GalNet stories go up, people come flocking to see what there is to do, people who haven't read this forum start trading / missioning.

I've retreated to Mobius group for the time being, as the guns on my asp are bugged and won't fire.
