maybe I judged them too harshly too quickly. I equipped the two medium I got from the CG and the one large I already unlocked on my Krait to gather the missing materials for another unlock. I don't know about the damage, but the auto dakka is actually nice. The glave I shot in the face seemed to have deceased a little bit faster.

I just picked up a second large from a rescue ship, and I am going to take two large and two mediums out to a counterstrike system later today to test them out.

I still think fdev should have styled it out and blamed Azimuth :D

Oh, well... i hoped they made a mistake with the blueprint / engineered stats, but i guess it's much easier to say the CG advertised description was wrong

Now i feel quite dumb for getting into top10% for rares and top25% for bounties. 🤪

Messed around trying to kill an othrus with a conda with 4x large 2x medium AXMCs and got it to 17% - probably possible to do it if you bump the shields or use premium ammo or some cytos/beams to get the shield down faster.

They work great against Glaives which require at least one reload normally instead of melting like scouts. Scouts are less of a hassle too since you're never in a situation where you can't shoot them if they're in front of you due to reloading.

Supposedly you can exert a basilisk with the unengineered EAXMCs but I haven't tried it with the engineered ones yet.

Me too, I had the same result, but higher armor piercing was the main reason to take part in this CG.

They really should release stats on modules when they announce it in the CG so people can make informed decisions on whether or not they want to waste their time on the grind.

If nothing else, the community could call out the bovine manure of the descriptions ahead of time since we all know they don’t play their own game.

No point - they'd get the stats wrong 🤷‍♀️

If you want the modules, easier to just wait until you can buy unlock them. CGs are for the immersion :D

Not like i didnt...

Weird choice of mod naming and effect description on those ax mc - overcharged, but increasing piercing?
Overcharged is increasing damage not piercing...

guess we will see in-game

Even if the modules are a dud, I don't really regret the time I spent to get to top 10%.

Sure the hauling is kinda boring as usual, but I had a lot of fun winging up with randoms doing bounty hunting in the CNB & hazres.

As far as ax multi- cannons go, they aren't bad. You have to remember that Auto loader effects don't show up in the stats, but they give something like a 15 to 20% increase in sustained damage per second.

So overall it's looking like about a 30% increase in DPS. Not exactly game breaking or game changing, but very nice to have nonetheless.

Okay sitrep. I know this is statistically irrelevant because it is only a sample size of one and it is hard to judge this on "feeling", but I just had a quick go at them. I put a quad of them (two large and two medium) on my Krait and set off towards a counterstrike system.

I got hyperdicted by a single Glaive, and it was by far the easiest Glaive kill I did so far. The autoloader does its job, and the Glaive took a lot of damage in a very short time. I got out of the fight with way more hull than usual and had the feeling the Glaive behaved... more controlled while under constant fire.

So, they are not bad. Autoloader works, increased damage maybe too? Off to try and find a Basilisk. What could possibly go wrong.

yeah either I made a sudden skill skip, or the Glaives are way easier to kill with the new MCs. A combination of reverski and circling around it while keeping constant fire on it kept it around 1 km from me. It boosted past me once and caught me in lightning once. Maybe the autoloader isn't half bad.

The stats on these do not match what the CG promised.
"The weapon combines Auto Loader functionality with increased Armour Piercing, at the cost of increased Distributor Draw and Thermal Load."

Instead of increased distro draw, we got vastly increased power draw. And the armor piercing value is identical to the unengineered versions. A mistake was definitely made somewhere.

I looked forward to using "increased Armour Piercing" AX Weapon. I wish this is a bug, and it will be fixed soon.

It was a just mistake??? I wasted a time, again.
