Make notoriety stat more visible

I've just been helping a friend reacquaint themselves with the game after some time away, and it was difficult to explain where to check the notoriety stat.

I'd like to propose that it's added to the 'status' tab (left-most tab on the right HUD panel) below balance, rebuy cost, local bounty & local rep.

I appreciate it's not intended to be a stat to be proud of, and the number itself doesn't need to be shown, just whether the Cmdr is notorious or not.

imo if you want to know how long you can check the stats page, the priority information is to know there is no point trying to pay off the bounty. It'd work either way though.

Yes a countdown timer would be more immediately helpful than the actual notoriety value.

I think in terms of information priority it would be:

1. Whether you are notorious or not,
2. How long you have to wait to be able to pay off the bounty (or when you need to do something by to stay notorious),
3. What your notoriety value actually is.

A countdown timer would address both 1. and 2.

I agree, it would be capital if notoriety was more visible. Perhaps one of the best places to indicate it is on the Info Panel that appears when you jump to another system? Instead of it just telling you your legal status in the jurisdiction you are going to it could also state your current notoriety? Eg, Clean - Not Notorious, Clean - Notoriety 2, Wanted - Notoriety 7 etc
