I’m clearly not welcome here

Thank you for your love and knowledge of animals.
Thank you for advocating for a North American animal pack.
Thank you for the marine animals.
Thank you for advocating for larger packs in general.
Thank you for offering new ideas to make the game more innovative and challenging.
Thank you for staying involved in so many different parts of the community.
Thank you for your love of the game.
Sincerely. Thank you.
I also understand how often that puts you in a tough spot, from forces outside of your control, and I'm sorry for that.
It's not your fault that there is a real or perceived gap between (some) creators and (some) players that needs to be bridged at all. Thank you for continuing to try to bridge it, even when the gap feels much larger than it should, and even when the bridge is longer and the journey more trepidiateous .
It's not your fault that (some) other creators or (some) other modders may want the game to end sooner than (some) other players do. Or use that to try to determine what should be included or excluded from future dlcs, or how many there should be. Thank you for continuing to advocate for both official and modded animals, and official and modded pieces.
It's not your fault that there has only been one official animal pack, and that it therefore carries such strong feelings and baggage. Thank you for trying to bridge those with humor, even if it still stings for many of us.
It's not your fault that there haven't been bigger packs. Or that maintaining pack price/size was used for so long by (some) others as an explicit argument against more animals prior to the SEA dlc (because we had to keep the animal count down to make room for pieces) and then again in the run up to the Africa dlc, that the newfound openness to larger, all-inclusive packs now that another animal pack is conceivably on the horizon, feels suspicious to some (we can expand an animal pack to include more pieces, but couldn't expand a mixed pack to include more animals). Thank you for reminding us that there is still a win-win solution that is possible. And thank you in advance for pushing for that solution again the next time a mixed pack is anticipated, the same as when an animal pack might be.
It's not your fault that the forums are one of the few places where all these different interests still interact honestly, and thus feel more difficult (toxic) than the platforms where people have self-selected more, hear more from people who already agree with them, and share the same jokes based on that commonality. Thank you for still being here, and thank you equally for being "there" pushing them towards that bridge just as hard.
And most of all, thank you for being you!
