MEF is a pretty uncommon drop. But yeah some installations are better then others. The trick is that you can now just keep rescanning without waiting 2 weeks. If that's still the case then, yes, it still "works".
Lung 3 (Lockhart Prospect) works. Was there last night filling up on MEF.
Pemoeri 4 - Ramelli Landing still works. I seemed to get roughly 3x more CIF than MEF there (I was after CIF anyway, so that was actually fine).
Wish I'd studied the map on the first page more, though (and posts above) - one of the data points is not visible - it's scanned from outside the complex.

Did that my first time as well. :O
I make my start point that hidden one as it's the hardest one to line up with. After it scans I boogie through the other 2 with ease, then head back to the hidden one and log off and back on.
You can start at the scan point where you ended the last run and work it backwards. You don't have to start over at the first point every time.
This list posted earlier in the thread is all anyone needs. All of the bases in the first set are ZERO security. No trespass, no skimmers. The fact that the cooldown is gone, is gold, thanks for that info, I would never have guessed or tried it on my own.
Um - not my experience Ashenfox. For example, Gender A1 - Trespass. As are all the others in that list that I tried. As far as I can see all L1M are now trespass protected. So are all of M2L. These are just the ones I have tested. M2M seems OK. Going to try S3M tomorrow. But really, just stay at one of the M2M's that is lit and not too bumpy and you are gold.

No trespass (so far). Landed 1km from base.
BUT BEWARE! Gravity is HIGH! I binned my Conda 1st time around, and almost wrecked it at the 2nd attempt. 3rd time lucky
It's extremely hard to reduce vertical speed.
As of now BINDER BEACON +++ is a trespass zone at about 2.8km. On my 2nd trip I just touched the zone briefly with my ship then reversed. Thought I was OK, but then I got a 600CR bounty as soon as I went in with my SRV. Skimmers shot me, and Conda lost some shield while I was running...
