Modes have their flaws apparently.
Squadrons attacking a m-ship can only be defeated in the same mode. You can't defend in game assets like ships etc, only counterattacks are possible. While modes share the play ground, their dividing nature obviously limits interplay.
Splitting the "galaxy" comes with a price.
Which is why it would be nice if there were a few aspects of the game for CGs, Powerplay and possibly Faction related gameplay, that were OPEN only, and orchestrated PvP gameplay for those interested...
If they were to do so, any player on a console without gold or PS+ would not be able to take part.
You wanted to help that's my point you can't there in a private server killing your mega ship
Frontier need to at least weight the influence depending on where they are doing it from
Who are the real griefers here ? Some random group on a Private server killing off your faction? Or the guy that shoots you to take your cargo? The fuel rats will probably have to work for a lot longer than it would take to replace that cargo and rebuy to undo the damage that's been done to their faction by a private group

By the by, just to make sure we all remain honest.
Discussion over this was started in the DDF. By PvE players. I was there, following concerns about the ALL-groupe.
Developer led or among the DDF itself?
... because the DDF member(s) who wanted Solo and Private Groups to be deleted rather obviously didn't get their way either....
This must not be the case. If your sort would finally start to seriously discuss the topic instead of just propagating and blowing out nonsense while ignoring all the (mostly technical) facts.
And most of them want the open private solo stuff killed off for squadrons.
This is about Balancing the game. And if it makes a few of you here unhappy about it. Then so be it.
