in the end the metacritic score will be very accurate, good day.
Accurate to what exactly? How does an average opinion relate to a personal opinion?

an example
Strawberry Cheesecake is reviewed, Some people love cheesecake and don't care what flavour it comes in, they give it 10/10 without even tasting it. Some like Cheesecake but not Strawberries, they give it a 0/10. Over the course of a few hundred "opinions" the average works out to 5/10 for Strawberry cheesecake.

I've never had cheesecake before, how does 5/10 relate to me? should I buy Strawberry cheesecake? Is it better than Chocolate Cheesecake which scored 7/10? Depends on if you prefer chocolate to strawberries I suppose but to know that I would have had to already bought and tried both....

The point is, Metacritic is pointless, it's supposed to be used by the industry to gauge an average opinion, it's not meant for fan boys and haters to wage war on trying to force an average score to appear that lines up with their own, that's an abuse of a system that was never designed to inform purchasers of products.
