COMPLETED CG Mine Resources for Torval Mining Ltd (Mining)

It’s not just about making lots of credits but any made are a nice bonus
ok, if it isn't about credits- why next time mining CG has increased prices of stuff, which you can buy in amount of hundreds at once, instead mining?

Good MINING CG should have 2 things
#1 accept only mined stuff for progress (and here frontier did good job, now I want to see similar thing for mining missions ;) )
#2 be about commodities which cannot be bought from market
And with number 2 frontier failed. Again. So this CG simply isn't good MINING CG.

Bought goods are not counted for the CG so they have zero effect on the CG.
That is on his #1 point.

His point is that by having tritium prices affected (which is available from markets), for those seeking credits the CG was instantly turned into 120m/trip tritium reselling. No mining will come close to it.

Which has no effect on the CG

Exactly! A COMMUNITY GOAL is about coming together as a community to contribute to a particular goal! It’s not just about making lots of credits but any made are a nice bonus. Especially in a mining CG where everything mined is sold for a profit!
With no protect CG, who is going to protect the miners from those who shall not be named?

I think I'll start doing that when I go mining. The carrier can hold quite a lot and you can use some of it for missions to get mats. I've been going for high paying stuff, but mats are the real currency
Just remember use the transfer NOT the market when putting mined goods onto your carrier, it does not matter in most cases But when a mining CG pops up as now and you have a few K in stock your laughing.

I have a load of tritium in my carrier and I haven't a clue anymore how much of it is mined, (I guess about a third of it). So I'll just sell the lot and see what happens, then use the profits to restock some. ... And maybe sell some of that too.
I am in the same position, some mined and some brought, and annoyingly I did have some Painite laying around but sold it a couple of days ago when lightening up my carrier before heading back out into the black.

I'll take the 150k/T profit and replace it when I need it.
I am going to, although some of it cost 100k as I got it via a buy order.

Not worried about profits anyway, doing it for the CG.

Just for the record, I have just mined my first half million minerals:)

Which is better: the minaning lance or the mission reward? I've got four lances on my shabby dragged T-10 barge, thinking to exchange them ...

You are confusing two different things, the Mining Lance is Used for mining, a mission reward is what you get for completing a mission.

What was being referred to in previous posts was mining missions and the ability of carrier users to save certain metals or minerals on our carriers then when a mining mission appears on a mission board we accept it, go back to carrier, collect goods and complete mission.

A lot of these missions pay out a lot more than selling the materials via the market, a high enough price to make them worth collecting rather than discarding them when mining. There is another way to also get a higher price on certain mined goods and that is to sell to certain carriers that are buying these particular materials and then they use them for the same purpose, these carriers can be found by going to INARA commodity page and then clicking on the metal-mineral, look at the buying prices for Osmium, Samarium and Bromellite,

With mission reward, he means the pre-engineered mining laser you can get as reward for this CG.
Or just nip over to LTT 198 and picking them up (if he has the right permit and goods).

One thing that does not seem to be offered to participant's of this CG is the LTT 198 Permit.

Ooops, sorry my quirk way to speak, I wanted to compare mining lasers...
Thanks a lot for your explanation)
