Be careful in Deciat. It's one of the most-trolled systems by 'dangerous' folk.
problem i see that inara is outdated. is there any other ED trading tool that has updates?
It's not really Inara's fault. These tools all depend receiving upon up-to-date market data. Sometimes it takes a while for market data to propagate / update because there aren't many players visiting systems / stations AND who choose to use a tool that reports the commodities pricing data. If CMDRs chose to use
EDMC or other tools, this could happen more quickly / more often.
If you ever get into any BGS activity, you'll find that these tools are valuable for helping the team make relevant, timely decisions about strategy.
It's also useful to be aware of the 'freshness' of the data that you're seeing. On Inara, this is reported by the "Updated" column (usually to the far right of the page display). In EDDB the column header is an image of a clock. If the data you see isn't recent,* you may be disappointed by available supply or pricing inaccuracy.
The recent balance-adjustments to this game also mean that if data is old, you'll almost certainly be out of date - possibly by a significant amount!
EDMC =
Elite Dangerous Market Connector; a companion application (PC) that reports commodities pricing. It doesn't track or report your movements. It's quite helpful.
* "Recent" is not a definitive term. It depends upon amount of traffic in the system and (of course) how long ago the last update occurred, combined with how likely it is that visitors to the station wanted the item that you want. Sorry I can't be more specific. It takes a little while to get the hang of this. In general, these tools are very useful!
