More skin options for JP3 Pteranodon

We've seen some creatures that had model variants like, Ouranossaurus, Kentrossaurus, Dreadnoughtus 2022 and Giga 2022 get new body/pattern colors for these special variants.
For me, this was a great step forward. These models are amazing and there are so many detalis, so it was good to see them being used to deliver more customization options.

That said, there are a few creatures that would greatly benefit from such upgrade, like the iconic JP3 Pteranodon. For many, this is the ultimate version of this animal, so it would be nice seeing some customization for this model.

In the previous game, Frontier gave us some great options for the JP3 Pteranodon like the ones below:

I think it would be great to see more options for this guy, especially with the new skin system in JWE2. Hope the Dino Gods listen! 😄😄
Keep up the amazing work, Frontier!!

Love it.

There is one thing I don't understand though, why did they add teeth to Pteranodon in JP3? It looks more like Ludodactylus.
I dunno, it gives it a style. I actually quite like that they aren't entirely realistic, because it's been acknowledged in the films that they aren't.

Example A: Alan Grant's quote, "What John Hammond and InGen made were genetically engineered theme park monsters. Nothing more and nothing less"

Example 2: Dr. Henry Wu's quote, "Nothing in Jurassic World is natural"

In a behind the scenes book that I have that came out a couple years ago, they just wanted to deviate away from what they knew would be accurate in favor of more stylized approach. Their ability to grab people with their feet included, as per what they said in it.

I’d rather have the 1997 pteranodon and Geosternbergia than any new skins for the 2001 model. And so I don’t get this “but” in the replies: The geosternbergia is NOT the one we see flying in movie. The geosterbergia appears in Tembo’s field guide as pteranodon but it is not the one we see on screen.

The geosternbergia is headcanon made real.

To be honest it wasn’t never even headcannon. It appears in InGen’s field guide and on the monitor in team Hammond’s trailer base. It also appears in several posters and such that came out alongside the movie. There was a VERY deliberate attempt from the film makers to get the idea across that this animal was on the island. It was called pteranodon, but it they still made an effort to include this design over the one actually seen in the movie.
