Because it is showing us and Hopefully FD the huge flaws in multicrew. Simply putting in a bug report gets the usual @Thank you for pointing this out, we will look into it'.....Yeah right!

I can see how infiltrating somebody's ships in order to sabotage it might be fun and legitimate gameplay, but it makes me wary about opening up my ship to anybody I don't know. If trolling is your thing then I don't really see how devs can prevent it do you?

I play with multiple accounts, thanks to family share on xbox i only need to buy the game one time.
So, if one of my accounts are busted, i simply use another to continue
whaaaah! thats multiple saves with just one game copy, i can't reproduce that with steam-family-share. that's a clear disadvantage of the PCMR.
money can be earned here.
And how do you propose it be fixed? As a crewmember I want to have access to stuff, else there is no point to any of it. And FD cannot control whether I press a button when the helm wants it or not, I need some autonomy.
And PLEASE, stop the whole 'withdraw' stuff. If you dont like it in its current state, feel more than welcome just not to use it. Why insist others cant use it?

Thank you. Although i knew people do hate me for what i do....you pointed it out.....someone need to do the wet work.
I wouldn't say it's broken to death but it needs further improvements.
I have no suggestions i am afraid, but i know it is broken to hell. I am not a game designer, just a player. Like i said take it out the game, re-design it, test it, then give it back to us to play with it.
I am not suggesting binning it altogether, i am merely saying it is flawed as is, so why not take it out and have a rethink. Thats what i do in my business if something is not working!

But your business isn't 'fixing human nature'. In online gaming people can troll you. In FPS teammates can shoot you in the back. In racing games people can ram you for fun when its not allowed and just not care about the flag. You cant just demand FD 'fix' the ability of people to be dimblewoods. When you invite strangers on your spaceship, you need to be cautious and pay attention. If you cant or wont, dont invite strangers to your spaceship.

Yes, i can see both sides here, and like i said i am not saying MC should be removed totally and never raise its head again, i am saying it has bad flaws and this is just one of them. I did a video with Rusty Dog, in which he shows how MC can be exploited by 'Players' who can invite a friend into their ship like a newb, and this player need do nothing at all and in fact be AFK and still get a % of the money earned by the ship owner. In fact this player could go shopping with his missues and still earn this money?

MC is broken, so is the HR, I doubt FD can fix the HR, but they can fix MC?
I think we have a different idea of what a flaw is. Is a knife flawed because I can stab someone with it? Wouldnt you raise an eyebrow if someone said 'knifes are badly flawed, I saw how you can abuse them. I dont have the answers, but they must be redesigned."

So a hologram is projected into a seat, and this alone, instantly adds a significant energy boost to the ship? Doesn't matter if there's nothing for them to do, or they do nothing, voila! More energy!
Why not project half a dozen of these holograms into a seat?
