Multiple control schemas?

I am a recent convert to ”Newton’s Gambit” (full-time FA Off flying wherever possible), and would very much like to be able to save two sets of controls - my FA Off set [which relegates roll in favour of the other 5 degrees of freedom] and the more Newtonian set which more closely (although not exactly) match the normal XBox controller settings.

Unfortunately as things currently stand it is not possible to have two custom control schema saved for a single controller.

I am getting around this by using my HOTAS for FA Off flying and my controller for ”conventional” flying, but this is not an option for everyone (especially given the current supply issues with HOTAS).

Can FDev please consider allowing us to save multiple controller schema? It would also be useful for things like CQC, where you dont require an FSD but you certainly need your chaff / hearings to hand?

I'd like to go back to the days we could have bindings from a HOTAS & Controller on the same profile.

I was asking for this ages ago.
I wanted it for a combat control setup were the controls switched on hard point deployment.

Even just saved presets would be great at this point.

It would defo add so much to the game for myself.
